What do you want to see in the next mainline Mario game?
Should Shiggy rethink Mario's conventions like Aonuma is doing with Zelda? If so, which conventions should he rethink?
I for one wouldn't mind playable Bowser, Yoshi, Wario and Donkey Kong in a Mario platformer.
I think it should focus less on superfluous stuff like different playable characters [you could do that 3D World, etc.] and more on making the platforming element itself the most extreme focus yet with the most extreme levels they've ever done.
Whether that's a station to station level design or some kind of open-world where the platforming elements are baked in, it doesn't really matter. Jumping on, over, through, around, all kinds of crazy shit for no other reason than doing it should always be the prime focus of a Mario game.
More cute suits like the boot.

This movie sucked dick. They showed Ironforge for about 2 seconds and the dwarves seemed cool but that's about it. The movie was boring as fuck too, seemed like fucking under budgeted B movie trash.
