People who follow film are going to see it just because it's Tarantino. But general audiences don't give a shit about Samuel L Jackson, and they don't like westerns. With the h8ful 8ful script leaking, and everyone learning the scene about interracial gay blowjobs, the hype for this movie and the surprised reaction will be zero.
And that trailer was weak and uninspiring. I think it's because Tarantino is just losing his touch, it's very unlikely he will ever be able to make anything as successful as Pulp Fiction. His next movie: Kill Bill: Episode 1 Volume VII is a retreat back to low risk sequel-making.
