I can't be the only one that was tremendously bothered by the plethora of spelling errors in the Force Awakens crawl, right?
Looks like Disney truly knows who their audience is - Illiterate, autistic man-children that don't have a pot to piss in.
If you can't see where the errors are, YOU are part of the problem.

'Luke' is not a parenthetical element, nor is it a coordinate adjective. Those are the only two reasons that commas would be required. Back to school with you.
>>64052281
>comma
>spelling error
pick one
>getting bent out of shape over a comma that's not required
so, I'm still the best Disney movie ever made, right /tv/?
the jungle book?
yes

fuck u
Yes. Only one that can maybe challenge it is The Jungle Book or maybe Mulan.
"Kennedy approached him and was reluctant to work on another sequel. It was her pitch about a young female Jedi and the myth of Luke Skywalker that changed his mind. “I thought, Oh my God, it’s an incredible thing,”
And then [Kathleen Kennedy] called me up and the initial thing was she wanted me to write VII, VIII, and IX together, and I said, “There’s no way I can do that because it’s just too crazy and daunting.” And then the story that she pitched me was she just said it’s an origin story of a female Jedi. And I was like, “I’m in. I can’t...

If they wanted a character study of an emerging young female Jedi then they ought to have cast Saoirse.
Now they're stuck with Miss Foetal Alcohol Syndrome
>>64052113
She literally lost herself the role because she couldn't keep her mouth shut.

>"Oh my god, a female Jedi? What a novel idea! That's never been done before!"
I really wish these faggots would stop patting themselves on the back.
Can we have a To Catch a Predator thread?
This is Lorne Armstrong. He's a 36-year-old man who had a 407-page long chat with a 13 year old decoy named "Kayla." From his chat log:

kayla_princess94 (10/07/07 12:19:09 AM): huh
lorne_a_20014 (10/07/07 12:19:10 AM): do you know what that means?

What confuses me more than anything else is how they keep going while getting so little out of it
All the decoys ever say are
>hi
>OK
>sure
>im good
>huh?
What the fuck do these guys get out if it. They're essentially talking to themselves.
Get off the computer Lorne

What did they mean by this?
you have a minute to give me a real reason to dislike Revenge of The Sith. no memeing.
- amazing lightsaber battles
- great characters like general grievous, sheev, obi wan
(basically all the characters in the prequels were good. they actually had a presence and identity
unlike the forgettable ones from TFA)
- great world designs and concepts
coruscant is fascinating, 'the whole world is a city', information like that about all the different planets.
-the byzantine style politics were really interesting
- order 66
- interesting conversations like sheev and anakin in that 'chamber place thingy' talking about the dark side.
there was just no interesting conversations in TFA. just a dumbed down action flick.
I could go on and on. the prequels were actually like a star wars film.
take away all the obvious faces and lightsabers from TFA and its just your
generic high budget action flick. fast paced. no background information, no substance,
tediously boring forgettable characters, and a hilarious amount of flaws
seriously i must be going mad. how can you guys insult the prequels but love this monstrosity that is TFA?
The start on Jakku is the only part which resembled a star wars film. it was just so boring, and i dont care that it was a rehash, even if it was original it would still be really really shit.
Quit hating on the prequels just because you dont like ja ja or some of the CGI. they were brilliant for all the reasons i mentioned above and more.
also, name some good quotes from TFA. because there were hundreds in the prequels, mainly revenge of the sith.
george lucas
plinkett reviews and reddit told me too so i just parrot the majority opinion xD
The Dialogue can be cringy sometimes, but it's still a decent movie.
At least it manage to have some slow, breathing scenes unlike Abram's TFA
Reminder that if you live in the UK, the 1982 animated classic The Snowman is on tomorrow at 12:50, followed by the lackluster modern sequel The Snow Dog at 13:15.
For American friends, Youtube has you covered.

I'm not watching that fucking thing again.
Reminder that The Snowman is a fucking meme and I knew that even as a young child.

Just hearing the tune made me feel like shit, probably couldn't watch the whole thing anymore

Well Salon is fucking terrible
Is there a fan-base more cancerous than Star Wars?
>born into child soldierdom
>brainwashed from first day of life
>never know anything but sterile order, surveillance, obedience, and cruelty
>seen horrific violence
>somehow just a normal guy with a jovial and goofy personality who makes jokes, gets along well with others and has good social skills
Yeah it was bullshit that Rey beat Kylo and a big movie fuck up, but this made even less sense.

I don't remember this part

You know people get born into religious cults and still leave to become normal people right?
It's pretty clear him having what we'd call "normal" personality is why he left. Brainwashing is never perfect. Fuck, even Clones detracted in that cartoon show /co/ loves so fucking much.
Everyone's favorite EU character was a stormtrooper. Now granted he joined up in his mid to late teens but it's similar.
The only way this complaint works is if you think brainwashing is 100%...

It's just a sword.

shitty comic relief and does next to nothing that ever progresses the plot
TFA did right by only making a R2 replacement and ignoring threepio
They should've just let Finn keep the blue lightsaber, and Rey gets a special yellow one, because
>Yellow is the only 'Jedi' lightsaber color not introduced yet
>Makes complete fucking sense that a girl gets it
>They copied KOTOR by making Kylo into Revan, might as well make Rey into Bastila
>>64051109
Yellow was in The Clone Wars

What's your favorite color of crayon? My favorite color is marsupial brown. btw im 12.

Yellow is an ugly color though, no girl anywhere wants a shitty yellow lightsaber
I just saw this for the first time in 17 years.
The first time I saw it I was 10 years old.
I saw a slightly edited youtube version in HD that took out a lot of jar jar, fart jokes and unnecessary scenes and was 92 minutes in length.
I've changed my mind, this movie is not as bad as you people say. Lucas tried hard to tell the story of what happened before the amazing movies he made.
He wasn't trying to make this like the originals, this was it's own thing.
I was actually interested in the political struggles of the time before darth vader,...

I liked this show but I thought they went overboard with the sex scenes. Some episodes felt like a porno almost.
Krysten Ridder is pretty hot though.
It doesn't have that many sex scenes. I watch this show with my mother and it's not even awkward.
