Reminder that this is the best space battle ever put to film. Nothing in TFA even comes close to this level of immersion in the Star Wars universe. It brilliantly introduces now content and expands the lore while staying true to the feel and tone of classic Star Wars. I remember hating the redesigns to the Jedi Starfighter, the one in episode 2 was actually cool.
Also the space battles in TFA sucked because the resistance didn't use anything other than X-Wings because they thought the audience would be confused if there were to many different types of ships.
I mean, they're doing a bombing run to destroy a structure and they don't bring any Y-Wing bombers with them?
We could have had some cool Y-Wing action dammit, but instead we got "The audience is too dumb foor Y-Wings"
