It's basically the same plot of the original without the attempt at pseudo-science.

>manages to be the best Batman in cinematic history in spite of all the naysayers
>ultimately couldn't save BvS and will inevitably get fucked over by Snyderverse capeshit in the long run
Goddamn it.
We almost had a flawless 10/10 Bennaissance
>>68154795
I'm pretty sure he just wanted a paycheck without doing all that directorial legwork...plus he likes comic books.
Perhaps the Jennifer Garner split hit him hard and he just wanted to do something aloof that would be fun. Whatever his reasons, he was a 10/10 Batman despite BvS only being a 5.5/10.

>manages to be the best Batman in cinematic history in spite of all the naysayers

>It's a Larry David leans closer and studies someone's face to see if their lying episode
>it's a Larry gets in an argument in the beginning of the episode, then is on the other side of that argument at the end episode
God I love when he's being a hypocrite.
>It's a preeeeeeeetty, preeeetty, pretty good episode
I used to like this show, thought it was pretty funny considering there wasn't much ever going on other than dialogue. But now I just can't stand it. I tried watching an episode recently and it's so damn boring and I cringed a bit until I had to turn it off.
Why did I change?
you know it's true

>good guys win with no major loss.

I legitimately don't understand how, if you are a lover of comedy and if you have spent a lot of time watching stand-up and have a love for the medium itself, you could list any other comedian than Stewart Lee as your favorite.
No other comic compares, now or in the past, and I say this as an American who has a generally low opinion of British stand-ups.
This last series was fairly weak, but that last episode was amazing.
My friend once told me Stuart Lee is comedy for intelligent people. From then on I have refused to watch any Stuart Lee.

I still have to catch up. I saw the first episode and it wasn't that great, but to me it's crazy that he's even managed to put out this much material regularly for years.

Also. I fucking dare any DC executive to tell the rock in person that he cant twit whatever the fuck he wants.
he's just getting ready to cuck marvel drones and he whoops superman and shazams candy asses.
Was he as big of an asshole as HBO made him out to be?
What? He was the most level-headed forthright character I've ever come across, even as a teenager; which should tell you something right there.

>Well, as the saying goes, "the best laid plans can cripple you financially." Not enough people bit. To continue making the show, C.K. says, "I had to take out a line of credit." Speaking with the incredible chill of someone who is presumably screaming molten fire on the inside, C.K. told Stern that he's now "millions of dollars in debt."
