>it's a Dave/Joe screaming at Cody for not wearing shoes episode
>>70299542
Best episodes desu
Love their seasons, the others just can't compare.
It's a Cody gets fired episode.
Anyone who hasn't seen this movie because of an aversion to Michael Bay need to reassess. This was one of the best action movies and the most stressful political commentary I've watched in years.
>>70299517
I heard the editing was shit
>>70299557
it's as hyperactive as all of Bay's films
with a better editor and more restrained direction, this film could've been great, but it verges on incoherence during some of the action sequences. the only part that really hits a home run is the ending.
i watched it the other night, it was like all the good in bay came out again i.e. bad boys and the rock. it was just non stop from start to finish, and the bonding between the soldiers was great, no over the top shit humour from bay either, it was just right. The only thing i felt was a bit hammy was the "muh family" scenes but even they weren't over the top.
You have 60 seconds to write the best possible stand-up comedy you can think of.
No dialogue, just two guys come and fuck you in the ass on stage.
A comedy about a man who is /tv/ personified. Pic related.

A homeless gentleman walked up to me the other day
"Please sir, I haven't had a bite in months!" He said
>Well what did you do?
Well I leant over and bit him of course
>AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Will they include this tweet in the biographical movie they make about him?

I would love to drop this dude in Liberia with no money and let him see how well that society functions.
>>70299251
Probably pretty well since there are no white dudes to ruin Liberia and turn it into a racist shithole like Amerikkka.
>>70299226
isn't his whole deal being an angry white guy?
Post you're film folders.

It was good but not great, it's quite a cut down version of Macbeth. Not essential cinema.
>ITT movies that are great to a certain point before destroying any love you could've had
Pic related. Genuinely one of the WORST endings ever ive seen, completely tanked the movie
Completely agree. Absolutely no reason for the alien shit.
>>70299077
Sad part is that that ending was blatantly tacked on to loosely connect it to a popular previous film to try and sell some extra tickets.
The original script ending suited it perfectly.
What do you mean? MEW soloing an alien ship was believable, sexists.
Whats ur opinion on this kino
Predestination

Is it better than Silence of the Lambs?
>>70298846
No. Pretty good though.
>>70298846
yes
the director's cut absolutely is. one of Mann's best.
So now that the dust has settled, can we agree that this was the best Coen brothers production?
Not even cracking their top 10. It's a good movie though maybe the best I've seen from this year
>>70298805
I haven't seen it yet, is it worth a watch? I typically like Coen stuff.
>>70298831
What was better then? A Serious Man? Don't make me laugh.
Do you still find adult swim stuff funny?
>>70298693
Sealab is hilarious anon.
Why call it "adult swim" anyway? What does it mean?
>>70298693
Still? No. Did I once? Yes. Now, I'm really into netflix! :)
Bit late to the party but I finally saw X-Men: Apocalypse.
The first half was better than I expected, and the second was worse than I expected, so it ended up being around the overall quality I was hoping for.
PROS
>The opening scene in Egypt
>The opening credits
>The music
>Fassbender
>Quicksilver

Paranormal Activity is the worst one. I like Insidious, Conjuring was meh but infinitely more respectable than the PA series. Horror comes in cycles, slashers of the 80s, atomic age of the 50s, and courtesy of the PA series we're stuck with generic exorcism / ghost / found footage movies. The genre of horror that appeals to the lowest common denominator. Thing is with genres like the slashers or torture porn, even when you were watching a bad movie of those genres they were mostly still entertaining. These exorcism / ghost / haunted house movies are just boring as fuck. These are made solely to milk teenagers out of their pocket money who will only see these movies so they can talk about how hilarious it was when Stacey jumped so hard she spilled her popcorn. Every movie is made for money, but a series like Saw, regardless of what you think about the quality, was made for horror movie fans, they genuinely wanted to entertain you with those sequels. Movies like the PA series and countless studio commissioned horror movies that it has inspired (Devil's Due, Devil Inside, Dark Skies, The Forest, Ouija, Annabelle, The Possession, The Apparition) are made for the lowest common denominator with no desire to entertain horror fans.
To further defend the Saw series, cause it get's a lot of bad rep because it's a long running horror series that wasn't made in the 80s like the Friday the 13th series so "hardcore horror movie fans" shit on it endlessly because it's not nostalgic to them, I hate how people accuse Saw of ruining the horror genre for a few years by popularizing the "torture porn genre". This accusation is spouted by absolute retards who have no knowledge on the horror genre whatsoever. 2005-2010 was a great year for horror, we had a great selection of studio produced horrors from a wide variety of genres. Saw influenced absolutely fucking nothing, there literally was no "torture porn boom", if you disagree, feel free to name some aside from Hostel and Captivity.
PA sucks. I saw the first one in high school and of course it spooped me to the point I didn't want to walk around in the dark for a night or two. I saw one of the newer ones recently (set in California or Mexico and they end up in an old house at the end run by a cult?) and it was just dumb. Maybe because I'm older I don't get the hype or like >>70299122 said, it's only meant to tell your friends about who spilled their popcorn. Anyway, I hate found footage movies now because they all try to go for the same...

They haven't damaged anything. Knockoffs of knockoffs of knockoffs have existed in horror for decades. Just cause this is the trend that popped up in the time you decided to sort of pay attention doesn't mean its the one that actually has any lasting impact.
What is /tv/'s opinion on Captain Disillusion?
wait.. there is a new Beakman's World series? I knew the comic it was based on was still going.

Olive teen on the left is nice. That his daughter?
ah. guess he guest starred in character on this guy's webzone series.

I really hate his face since he fucked my mother. It's a terrible thing in our family to this day.
>>70298510

Have you seen the scenes where he's detested like a little German boy in lederhosen? Fucking hilarious.
