I have to pretend to be excited for my local players and online but honestly I'm kind of worried about Trolls. It took so freaking long for them to get anywhere near competitive and that was with two really stupid theme lists.

Stuff is looking ok so far but not great, at least we sound better than Skorne but I'm not looking forward to being at the bottom of the rankings again like we were at the beginning of Mk2.

I think what define magic as opposed to other stuff is that magic operates on the level of concepts and symbols, not elementary forces. So it can has more arbitrary rules.

For the record, hate damage is not reduced by armor. Important to note and I don't remember how prominent it was stated. I just remember a player bringing it up after reading the rules while I was confused at why the Guardian took no damage from ANYTHING.
