This is just a basic evo game, you have two base organisms and it's up to you to direct their growth!
Rules are pretty standard:
>Post a picture of a creature with a mutation edited in. Give a description.
>Don't add complicated features, progress slowly.
>Be creative.
>Don't modify something twice in a row, give other people a chance to contribute.
>Be realistic
>Have fun!
An animal, it eats things and moves around with its tail.
An immobile plant, essentially a big fat blob of green energy.
>>226151
Evolve bigger head, this "creature" can storage proteins now.
Suddenly, you hear the noises of hundreds of animals all around you. You look around and find yourself in unfamiliar surroundings, but for some reason you cannot remember where you were before. You realize that you are standing in the middle of a very large forest. You can see nothing but trees in all directions.
It is a bright sunny day, but the sunlight is mostly blocked by the thick canopy of towering trees of all species. Little rays of sunlight filter down in odd places, giving the place a surrealistic mood.
Feeling a little scared now, but knowing that you can accomplish nothing by staying in one place, you decide to explore this strange place. You start walking along a natural path that you find, and after a few minutes you come to a small clearing where you can view the perfectly blue sky unobstructed. There seem to be several ways you could go from here.
Go left, toward the sound of running water
Go straight ahead, following a white bird you see
Go right, onto another path

“Don’t you remember? Having more than 1 waifu will ruin your laifu.”
A voice echoes in your head, speaking through your thoughts.
You’re surrounded by complete darkness, and all your senses are numb. You blink, but nothing changes. Are you… dead?
“Hey Res, it’ll be a shame if I sent you straight to hell, right? How about working for me?”
You try to say something, but nothing comes out.
“I knew you’d be excited! Let me just remove those pesky memories and send you off your way!”
A searing hot pain enters your head, slowly spreading through like liquid seeping into your brain. You cry out in pain, but you only hear silence.
W-what’s going on?
Everything’s moving so fast. It’s as if you’re falling…
The light of the sun slowly fades into your sight. The dark mist disappears as wind rushes through your hair and past you from behind. It takes you a second to register it, but you realize you’re actually falling out of the sky.
What.
You struggle to turn around, but you manage to do it. Facing the ground, you see the hard, rough concrete below, way past the clouds, approaching fast. Near where you think you’re going to land, a figure leaves their house. Slowly, you make out more details. A girl, shoulder length hair, school sailor uniform. She’s… walking towards where you’re going to fall. You call out-
“WATCH OUT!”
-to no avail. She looks up and freezes, stunned at the sight. You crash into her with the weight of an oversized pillow to the surprise of you and her. The girl topples over and falls down. Your mind shifts back into place, and you feel something soft. Your left hand is copping a feel, and your right hand is placed on the ground next to her face, all accompanied with your right leg tucked nicely under her skirt between her legs. Quickly, you scramble and pick yourself up. With a slight blush and nervous glance, she asks,
“W-Who are you?”
You reply with an apology and…
>”An corpse sent from the heavens above, I think.”
>”I’m a ghost that has come back to haunt you,” accompanied by spooky ghost sounds.
>”B-BAKA!”
>>226172
You reply with an apology and…
Grope her.
>>226172
>”I’m a ghost that has come back to haunt you,” accompanied by spooky ghost sounds.
You have made a deal with the candy wizardess. Now we need to find some magical staff of unlimited battery in order to save the princess.

Let's have a gander at that 'ol map.
Welcome to Adventure Civ Medieval!
In this quest, you will help a medieval realm strive and grow as trouble arises and other nations work on their own agendas.
There are four realms, that I will describe in the next posts.
how to play:
1) choose a realm to play for. change your name to reflect your choice (ex: Bowtie Noble). Max 4 players per realm.
2)each turn, your realm has 2 actions. You can choose a cultural, technological, or immediate acion, plus one bonus action based on your realms' bonus action(if your realm has a bonus tech action, you can do any action one time per turn, plus a tech action).
3)discuss with your compatriots which actions you will take. Once you're done, reply to my recap anchor post with the recap of your actions.
>>225068
here's the map. I'll post the realms and their stories now.
For those of you that were there for the tribe era, the cultures have evolved quite a bit, and each realm is facing one or more internal problems right now!
>>225070
gimme dat sun
>>225070
The people of the Sun are devout fishermen, masters of weaving and wrestling.
they have a bonus Cultural action.
The shamans have built huge stone temples throughout the country to celebrate the Sun and teach the people magic - for a price. They decide the fate of the country during their holy meetings at the capital.
However, after centuries of peace and pleasures, the shamans have grown sloppy and lazy, and it is now deeply rooted in their habits to go wrestle and have fun rather than suffer a thousand pains just to get better at magic.
They are in good trading terms with the Bowtie tribe, importing their cloth from there, but feel uneasy when their religion or social order is brought up.
Holy fuck! There is a new girl in class and she is cute as fuck. Her school uniform is totes too big on her though, and her straight bangs are so long they cover most of her eyes. What the fuck is wrong with people who don't go to the hairdresser on a regular basis? It's every woman's duty. The new girl shyly studies the floor as she starts introducing herself,
"My name is Maryse," she says, standing in front of the blackboard beside the teacher who has just welcomed her and encouraged her to start this ritual. "I'm from Osaka. My father is a famous mangaka. We relocated to Tokyo so he could direct his first anime. I hope you guys will be kind to me! Please welcome me warmly amongst yourselves!!" She bows so deeply her bangs are almost touching the floor.
"What about hobbies, Maryse? Do you have any hobbies?" the teacher asks. "It might help people with similar interests find you."
"Well, I enjoy knitting and literature. Especially 19th century English literature. My f-favorite w-writer is d-definitely Emily Brontë."
Oh God, what is she thinking? 19th century literature? Nobody cares about that stuff. And nobody says "definitely" unless they are like an adult or something. It's called "defo" for God's sake. The worst part is that she didn't say that she was into clothes and actors or something like that though. The teacher assures her she will be welcomed warmly and sends her to an empty window seat. Personally I'm not so sure. She seems like a nerd. But oh my God, how cute is she? Adooorawwwbs. I want to fucking fuck her brains out. I want to take her hard right there on her desk! Unfortunately it's math instead, which is defo the least sexy subject in the world.
After math class, during recess, my entourage of girls surrounds me as normal. We're talking about what happened in the latest episodes of our favorite j-dramas and whether Katori Shingo and Atsuko Maeda have really broken up, like the latest gossip magazines are saying. All of us would rather know about the new girl though. As the most popular girl in class it's my responsibility to take the lead here. Honestly I wouldn't rule her out this quickly, but I'm attracted to her and nobody must know of my lesbianism. That would be the end of my popularity! It's best to not take any chances and just make her a bully victim from the first moment. Since Midori tried killing herself last month, the girls have been reluctant about bullying her lately, so this is kind of perfect anyway. Any group, after all, needs a proper enemy for it to be stable over long periods of time.
>I need to bully the new girl, both so no one will know I'm attracted to her and find out about my lesbianism, and because my clique has been without an enemy for too long. How should I start bullying the new girl? There's about 10 minutes until next class starts.
Hoax everyone else in the clique having a crush on her.
>>224966
>Don't bully her, because that would be cliche as fuck and nobody respects that bullshit anymore
>talk to her in private instead, see what's up with her and why she is so nerdy and what not, if our character really is a dick then maybe be a little rude.
>>224966
>I need to bully the new girl
>no one will know I'm attracted to her and find out about my lesbianism
-Become her best friend
-Watch carefully if she falls in love in someone
-Make him break her heart
-Comfort her and tell her you will care for her from now on
Old thread, in autosage >>217495
Sorry for the slow update, I had things to do these days. I will try to wrap this up by today
“So…”
You try to strike up a conversation. Chit-chat has never been your forte, but the situation demands it.
“You… You’re Koko, right?”
“My, aren’t we the bold one”, she replies, smiling. You made a small mistake there, addressing her by first name. She doesn’t seem upset, but you decide it’s better to rectify that impression “Oh, excuse me. Everybody referred to you as Koko and I…”
“You didn’t quite catch my surname, I see. You can call me Kaga, while you’re Hikari, did I get that right?”
“You sure did, although I don’t mind being called by first name. Kaga, could I ask you something about Banri?”
“Uhm, sure. But don’t get the wrong idea, there’s not much I know about him. We’ve only been together for a short time”.
You curse your bad luck. Maybe the guy knew more? It’s too late for what ifs.
“I understand. In any case, have you noticed anything… strange about Banri, recently? Anything odd?”
She reacts by widening her eyes and clenching her hands, a telltale sign that you’ve hit the bullseye. “Why do you ask me this?”
“There’s something strange about him, and what’s more, it seems like you know something. I am here to help, I just want…”
Kaga stands up, interrupting your speech.
“I don’t care about what guys like you or Linda think is the best. If Banri has a problem, I will fix it! I am his girlfriend after all!”
With this, she leaves, indignant. It was a failure on all fronts, but you have a clue. An odd name, quite certainly foreign: Linda.
You stand up and head for a random corridor. You have nothing better to do than wandering through the campus like a haunting ghost.
‘That’s not too far from the truth, is it?’. Your stomach grumbles however, remind you that you’re definitely alive. You now regret turning down offers for food.
A girl dressed in a strange, punk-rock fashion suddenly appears in front of you. She’s not a ghost or anything of the sort, but there’s some hostility in her expression
>’Hm excuse me, where can I find Linda?’
>Ignore her and move on
>Write-in
>>233709
>Ignore her and move on
>>235907
She looks like the kind of person you’d prefer not to bother. You move on, but when you pass by her, you feel a hand restraining you.
Turning around, you see she’s clinging on the back of your shirt.
“Excuse me miss, how can I help you?”
“Oi kid, where’s Nana?”
“Hm, I don’t know, who is Nana?”
“Well I am Nana, but I mean the other Nana”.
“I must confess you’ve lost me there”.
“I am Nana, but I am looking for the other Nana! Nana Hayashida!”
“I guess that clears it up. However, unfortunately, I know no such person”
“Geez, really? I thought Linda would be a bit more popular around here”, she complains.
Wait a moment, Linda? Is she the person you are looking for? Her name sounded foreign, is it because it is an alias?
This was definitely a stroke of luck, now it’s up to you to decide how to capitalize on it
>”Could you describe her to me? Maybe I’ve seen her somewhere”. [use the information to look for her on your own]
>”We could look for her together!”
>write-in

Forgot my trip. At least my IP didn't change.
Ishtara tries to make herself familiar with this new place, that her new subjects call Essukur Salmat.
The New Land of Mankind.
She tries to find out as much as possible from her few hundred subjects, to get an idea what this new world is like.
They describe the greater surrounding area as arid and mountainous , only the coast is really humid enough for agriculture.
Countless barbarian tribes live in this world, many of them, while not at our border, are still in our immediate vicinity.
These Barbarians have been initially mistaken for Demons due to their red tinted skin, but they turned out to be much more civilized, yet somehow even more primitive, than the Barbarians back at home.
There also appear to be a very dangerous race of Cow living in this world, which the locals call "Bison".
They're stronger than Hippos and share a similar level of aggression toward Humans, however, at times they appear to be almost timid, so they may be domesticable with our abilities.
If we can do it, we would have a permanent source of meat in this foreign land.
What will our Queen Ishtara do?
go hunt some bisons

5 decides what happens
You rape the monkey girl thing or whatever it's called
>>230732
You crawl up her anus.
The year is 640 AD
Islam has just been founded, but goes in a slightly different direction.
The religion is much more laid back, like Christianity is today. Belief has skyrocketed and Muhammad founds an arab republic, named Arabea.
The capitol is Makkah (Mecca).
How do we expand?
Population (in millions): 2
Trade partners: Distant traders from unknown countries. The only known countries are the Byzantines and Judea.
Onto the sea. We build boat houses, and are nasheed blasting Not!Rastafarians. Hey, you said laid back.
>>232482
Yes I did.
However, we don't have much vegetation, just the occasional date palm, do you want to do expeditions to find these rare "Rainbow plants"?
Also Fishing is now a growing industry, The prophet is pleased with the current state, as are the people. Cannabis is however, along with other psychodelic drugs such as opium, a plaything for the wealthy.
>>232503
Fix that!
Opium and dank kush are God's gift to his children.

Basic Advice for QMs:
>Read other quests. Learn from their mistakes.
>Use prompts. Don't remove prompts unless your players are creative with write-ins or they'll stop posting.
>Only give options you want to write. Yes, they will pick the joke and demand you run with it.
>Use a majority vote. Don't use last number of their post or highest roll to decide which option is picked.
>Rolling goes after the option is locked in. Players otherwise choose the best option that can't fail.
>Read your update out loud before you post it. Don't spend hours editing your update because of this.
>Chargen kills quests. Usually. Hide it or remove it until you git gud.
>Never demand your players name anything. They either disappear or post the worst suggestions.
>Don't feed the trolls. Shut down their stupid write-ins before they sink your quest.
>Don't meta-talk during the thread. Save anything not about clarifying the vote until the session's done.
>Don't fear failure. Experience helps more than any guide. Don't get too attached to your premises.
>Don't be afraid to stop. If you're not having fun, don't force yourself. Tell your players and try a different idea.
>Make a Twitter so people know when you're running; so your quest doesn't fizzle out for lack of votes. Link it at the start (and end) of your thread. Give at least several hours notice before running. Use UTC for times; not everyone lives in America.
>Don't be afraid to ask for advice in the IRCs/Discord. In there, you know who's giving the advice.
>Don't write in the 4chan reply window; you'll lose an update someday. Use a word processor that autosaves and back up your previous updates with a private pastebin or file upload.

More like a survival game.
Specifically I was thinking Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead. Or maybe dwarf Fortress.
The posts would be pictures with some prompts and maybe suggestions. Maybe a little bit of narrative if I'm feeling creative.
Am I alone in thinking it'd be neat?

I'm still only on my first thread, so I don't know if I'm yet entitled to answer this, but so far the only thing I planned was the info in the OP. I've winged everything else up to this point.

You knew just how resistant she was to change. You knew just how much of a bad idea it might be to change her. "I'll accept Fujiko for who she is." Fujiko already believes you have accepted her and you will do just that. "I want to get to know her more and I want to protect her." You made up your mind that night. You made up your mind that you'll protect Fujiko. "I'll protect her."
The next morning when you wake up, you still felt a bit under the weather. So much so that you decide to stay home. "Hmm maybe I'll ask Fujiko to take care of me again..." You whisper to yourself. However you can't make Fujiko skip school twice in a row. "Ah, I'll take care of myself this time."
You give her a text. You tell Fujiko that you are still sick and that she doesn't need to take care of you. "Then... I'll visit you later after school then! I'll take notes for you!" Your lips curl into a smile. Right away you could imagine Fujiko with a concerned face. You didn't even have to see her to know what kind of face she was making at that moment.
"Thanks Fujiko." Then, right after you text Fujiko you go back to sleep and you try and spend the rest of your day resting. You are only woken up when Fujiko visits you after school.
"Good afternoon Ryu!" Then, once again, she tries to nurse you back to health. She would stay with you until after dinner then she would go home. Then that night, you give Aya a call to keep her company. The two of you would just talk about little things, just enough for her not to think too much about her situation.
"Eh!? You are sick too?! Jeez... You should be more careful you know!"
"I know." You tell her.
"Is anybody taking care of you?"
"Yeah, Fujiko is."
"Ah, I see." Aya sighs. "Ah, anyway, my physical therapy is going to start soon... Will you... Will you be able to go with me? Umm.. To cheer me on?"
"Hmm, when is it?" You ask her.
"Ah, it's going to start this weekend."
[ ] "Hmm, I already have plans this weekend."

You sing out the final bar of the anthem and you feel exhausted. You've just turned 18 and have graduated from your local school. You sit back at your desk and stare at the form in front of you. Local governments have been using these sheets for easy categorization of the young workforce. You pick up your pencil and begin to write...
>And here begins chargen. I want this to be as anon-driven as possible. Write a biography! Go into some detail. The best bios will be merged into one and used for our character!

As a child you always had a love for breakdancing. Always dancing when you could. Now in highschool you became the alpha breakdancer and anillilated any who would challenge you.
>>235644
You are Sergei, the child of an industrial worker and a school teacher, both of whom were deeply involved with the local Soviet prior to the revolutionary leader's betray of the democratic worker's movement. As a result, your humble home had been stocked with a small library of revolutionary literature, as well as the philosophical musings of the great Marxist thinkers. After having read through the entire collection multiple times over your childhood, you are convinced that the only way to reinvigorate the people's state is through breakdancing your revolutionary message of proletarian solidarity into people's hearts. Also perhaps becoming a minor party functionary and ruthlessly working your way up. That could work too.
Bullets whiz over your head as you push your back up against the small bit of cover. The girl next to you blind fires a pistol over the wall. "Shit," you think to yourself, "this is a tough situation." You squeeze the grip of the rifle in your hands and take a deep breath. "Alright, let's figure this out."
You peek over the wall, looking at the bandits' location. You see that they have a truck that they have a light machine gun mounted on. Two other bandits are taking turns firing from rubble around the sides of the truck. You see to your left is a building with some windows which you might be able to use to flank the bandits. However, you might also be able to use a grenade to either destroy the truck or scatter the bandits in cover.
>Run into the building on the left. It's dark enought that they might not see me go in. I can use the windows to take out the gunner on the truck and possibly one of the bandits in cover.
>Use a grenade. I have 4 more if I use one. I can probably get one later if I do use one.
