I could understand it being used during the leaked porn shitstorm because "media faggots get out" etc etc, but it makes no sense to copyright block this image unless the autor himself asked for that, which could be the beginning of the end, imagine if you weren't allowed to post any fan art, screenshot, upload any webm or dump any comic?

This has been a thing for atleast 3 years already, the first time i saw it was when FAKKU DMCAed the original sadpanda image.

Now this, this is some fine work.
The incompetent mod of /co/ has gone out of his way to make sure any and all hunger game threads are deleted within 5 minutes, and yet, he allows a Legion of Doom to go on for almost an hour and counting.
A role play thread that have been knows to get people banned for days is going on right now and the mod is too busy refreshing the page looking for hunger games to care.
>>
>>492297
sounds like typical shit moderation
just another day on 4chan
>>
>>492299
It's just another sign that the current /co/ mod knows nothing about /co/ culture or history and should be removed ASAP.
But hey, now that /co/ allows RP threads, I'm guessing that there is going to be a large migration from /mlp/ as long as they don't use horses. They've been wanting a to RP for weeks now.
>>
>>492310
They've already flooded /trash/ friendo, now there's all separate pony fetish threads over there and multiple RP-bait threads
>>

He pulls some stupid shit

Because you are too young to remember sites offering free shit getting taken down. You are also haing your first OS/console/whatever syndrome and think that brony site is the end of all means to get a fap.
Don't worry, you will grow up and get less angry at normal things happening.
>>
>>492495
Good question. Does it take high approval? Will a big filter fuck with the post upload time? Why are not more obviously spammed images and phrases banned that any janny and moderator should notice after 2 days?
>>

You, uh, want me to explain the chart?
>>
>>492668
>implying
Fakku has been a shit site since always and had shit all content. The only reason the site got as big as it did was because it was a normalfag site. Fakku hate is as old as the bloody site itself. There have been tons of reasons over the years for the hate, but over time jewcob only makes the pile bigger because he's an idiot who doesn't know what he's doing. For a few it probably is their first bandwagon but the hate for the most part is actually justified.

Nice reflection, fucking retard. Too bad no one gives a shit about having to pay for porn part, it is nothing amazing. The problem lies everyone else. It's not our fault jacob is fucking retarded, in addition to being a scumbag.

What is a amazing is the amount of people coming out of the clockworks and going hardcore anti-piracy the instant fakku went legal like as if anyone gives a shit about your retarded opinion. Jewcob dicksuckers are honestly worse than the man himself.

Pooh's Adventures isn't new. I've seen threads about it on /co/ quite often over the years. But it's certainly weird shit, and there are always people discussing it.

I've never understood how such a thing came into existence. It's always the same small group of people, interacting as if they're a big group in a really disturbing way. And it has somehow never died out. I just can't comprehend it.
>>
>>493426
probably just a group of idea guys having a good time together
>>
>>493435
"Idea guys", huh? I don't know about that. Their "movies" are pretty much all just the exact same thing as the original movie but with random soundless clips edited in with subtitles like. "Pooh: Yeah, I agree." and "Crash Bandicoot: Wow, what a mean guy." The cast ends up so big that half the movie is spent with these characters pointlessly introducing themselves.

The ones on YouTube are ridiculous though because then you go in the comments and people are writing intense...fanfiction? I guess? I don't know. It's just mindblowing to watch, really. Especially because I don't think these are actually kids.
>>
>>493441
Not everybody is creative lad, some people love to write their own stories but they suck at coming with new ideas, there is also the classic "i like these two things, i want to see a crossover between them" too which can be applied in this situation, as far as i know this could just be a group of outcasts writing shitty fanfics because why not, worst case scenario its goofy time porn all over again
>>
>>493426
I swear there was something similar to this that existed a while back but it was some guy who would take characters and random kids from Disney commercials and stuff and write up episodes and show premsies involving them, very similar to >>493355

>>
>>494151
Continued: In fact, the worst thing about gets is that people always try so hard to be the ones to achieve the get, so they post things that are retarded or off topic. I miss when the mods said they were going to purge all of them. They already overcame their stay.

The biggest problem is where they would go afterwards. Current 4chan moderation team seems to care verily even for good-for-nothing shitposters, so they can't just send them away. They won't just suddenly leave and no one wants an /ag/.

It's not like anime is dying right now, but if it ever comes down to it, one might just be able to backtrace it back to today, so you could be right.

I'm sorry for you and your loss, CG is at least a decade too early to be acceptable.

Financially, anime is better than ever before, but if you're talking about quality then yes, they might have lost it a little. We still have a nice variety of shows, but cyberpunk and war focused stories have been completely left behind. It's a shame, really, I wanted my Ace Combat anime.

How the fuck is that fine? The number of shorts like Somera-chan each season is dwarfed by the number of full length anime. What idiot would look at that and think it could in any way lead to the death of anime?

>>495549
Look at Production I.G's newest show, Joker Game and then try to keep pretending they don't make "the good ol' anime" anymore. Sounds like all you bothered watching lately is Kill la Kill and so you have a skewed perception of what anime really is. I wish people who criticized new anime weren't always so uninformed, because they know nothing and still talk in this smug self-satisfied way.

I don't know, but there are so many shows being produced right now that I can't help but think we are riding a bubble that's about to pop.
The Japanese population keeps decreasing and anime is becoming more and more niche, for how many years do you think this medium is sustainable?
Maybe 20 or so years from now kids you be shitposting about us on their VR forums, talking about how anime wouldn't be basically dead if it weren't for us, the niche market
and the Olympics.
Mathematics doesn't work that way. If you don't watch anime you are afforded no right to judge its quality.

>>495597
The number of shows produced has increased steadily since the 1980s, and there's no sign of it slowing down. A person would have to be living under a rock to consider it niche. If anime does die, it's not going to be in our lifetimes, especially because karma will catch up to all the shitposters and they'll collectively be hit by a bus.

Define "watch", mr I'm 16 and my intellect is fucking superior over there.

If I need to proclaim "fucking dropped" when "watching" anime, that gives me ample fuel to base my personal opinion.
>>
>>495765
If you need to proclaim "fucking dropped" at any time then you're just a good old fashioned idiot. "Dropped" is a meme people started using a long time ago to mock pretentious critics. Nobody actually drops shows. Except for the really stupid people who took that meme seriously, such as yourself.
>>
>>495744
You haven't heard of Under the Dog? People are certainly giving them money. Proof positive that the industry is far from dead.

>Nobody actually drops shows.
Except, you know, people with tastes and whatnot. A rare breed that thinks for himself, mmm quite.

What pretentious cunts, amirite. Stopping watching what we say is good, pfft.

Just for the sake of clarity, I drop most shows either soon after pilot or sometimes mid pilot. Some manage to hold my interest longer, but I'm fine with stopping watching a show after a season or two, if it doesn't deliver on entertainment value anymore for whatever reason.

LWA and UTD aren't valid examples. Those are kickstarters. No one else has really attempted to follow those models and aren't what I was talking about. I don't believe the vast majority of studios or company's currently have the money to throw them at director pet projects like they used to do. My post was meant to be a jab at that anon for being an idiot like as if jap animation is actually dead. It isn't and is just for the most part simply a case of money and time.

Plus, if people truly want better animation and certain genres, then they have to put more money into the industry and those specific things. No one wants to do high risk work with a very very low chance of a reward return.

Chill, you ass. It was a fucking Disney song thread. It came up as part of conversation because girls obviously have different favorite songs than guys. I put it in one my posts joking that I wasn't some ponyfag or something. I made a judgement call this time and it was fine. When that part of the thread was done, I stayed and posted to the very end of it and my being a girl wasn't mentioned by me, or anyone else, again.
I'm no idiot newfag, tripfag or /soc/ attention whore. I'm never, ever, despite being here years, a "girl on the internet".
So, I rather liked that when it came up it didn't derail anything. That I didn't have to take abuse, but got to talk about singing some of my favorite songs. That doesn't mean I think that it's a BIG DEAL. I mentioned it here because I figured that would show that the thread (on /tv/, even) wasn't full of shitheads. Like you.

I mean, what I did fucking mattered so much YOU had to declare it on the internet.

>>
>>498979
Nobody, absolutely nobody actually cares about anything offensive until they see that it's something they can immediately destroy and have a stupid majority agree with them.
>>
>>498983
No, the truth is that EVERYTHING is offensive to someone out there, because no matter how we are raised we will always be our own visions of right and wrong, and no matter how much we may try to be compassive there is always going to be a line that we won't like to see being crossed

The thing though is that if the individuals feeling offended are small in numbers, nobody will even notice them, its kinda like when someone reports something in a school, the staff will not give a fuck if just one student does it, but if a group of them suddenly complains together they will sure as hell do something, another scenario would be the person feeling offended being on a position of power that allows him/her to change the rules based on his/her own moral compass

Finally, we have the oversaturation caused by the internet, when even a dozen can cause the damage equivalent of thousands with a bit of dedication and teamwork, causing certain conflicts to look bigger than what they actually are

>They talk about the industry
That's on topic, anon. The video game industry is a very big part of video games, if you haven't noticed. That would be like expecting /sci/ not to talk about academia, /o/ not to talk about racing regulations, /pol/ not to talk about news reports relating to political events, /a/ not talking about animation studios, etc. etc. There is nothing wrong with that.

>they talk about twitter posts, they talk about news and celebrities
Twitter posts and news can be on topic, it depends what it is about. Jesus fuck. Celebrities really depends on who you are talking about and what you are talking about. E-celeb personal drama, well yeah that isn't related but there is a lot which fits under your umbrella which is on topic.

>That thread has probably been made at least 10 times just today
Was it? Maybe there was enough discussion that people wanted to keep discussing it.
>it's no wonder it got the shitposting treatment.
No, that's a minority of people who are looking to try and enforce what arbitrary things anons can and can't talk about. You sound like the problem here because it sounds like you don't want anons to be able to talk about things related to video games just because it falls within something you don't want to discuss. They are on topic; you need to get that through your head and so do the mods. The real problem /v/ has is outsiders with certain political and social narratives trying to dictate what people can and can't discuss. That thread was entirely on topic and the anon/s who went out of their way to shit it up should have been banned.
Considering Hiro's so called "let people discuss want they want" stance, a lot of obvious outsiders who are loitering around /v/, including the new mods, are sure as fuck hell bent on trying to make it a space which reflects their values and not the values of the board.

This just happened on /a/
https://desustorage.org/a/thread/140312790
One of the off topic generals just got purged for being a duplicate of another thread already up, but it was the version of the thread with the "official" thread OP image, and this has pissed a few anons off. Sounds really retarded to be offended by an image, but this is /a/ we are talking about.

For follow up, here is the thread which didn't get deleted:
http://boards.4chan.org/a/thread/140312718/
Here is where the generalfag stepped in and started sperging out:
>>>/a/140312824
>>>/a/140317542

A few choice quotes:
>Maybe we should be as cancerous and obnoxious as possible and treat this as a shitposting thread until the janitors delete it and then make a proper OP.
>at least someone actually made an exodus thread like they said they would if the legit version of the thread got deleted for the sake of the flamebait one
>Because that stupid fucking OP image is the whole reason DJT has been so awful for the past few months and why that autist is going on such a rampage.

>>
>>500677
>unbrowseable
How is it unbrowsable? I never go there, because it's not my cup of tea, but I do remember that one thread where they cross boarded with a picture of hotdogs on a rake was pretty fun
>>
>>500672
/mu/ and as of the past few months now /trash/ as well are my home boards
I also frequent /int/, /lit/, and [s4s], and occasionally go to /co/, /g/ and /an/ (which is odd because I'm not an outdoorsy person and I'm awful with animals)
I feel like I should try /tg/ because it seems nice, even though I've never really played many traditional games other than uno, sorry and
monopoly
>>
>>500679
Because it's filled to the brim with teens who create general tarot card and divination generals. Here's a little history of /x/. We were created for creepypasta stuff in '07. The community always had fun sharing images and links and doing investigations, and we had a lot of OC stories and experiences. However, because we weren't moderated, the board became home to /b/ whenever Moot fucked around with their board, and we would get endlessly spammed. That and the arrival of certain tripfags culminated in a mass exodus of the community that I don't know is matched anywhere else on this site, precisely because close to maybe 90% of our culture is gone and unremembered. The current community of /x/ consists to high schoolers who take magick way too seriously and jerk off in generals, and underaged tinfoils who denounce everything as shills and cannot hold a decent discussion about any topics on the board. Unsolved Murders threads are about the only thing worth going there for now, but I've stopped browsing it all together because it's too frustrating to get angry every time you look at the catalog or try and hold a conversation. The mods won't give the place any rules or a new sticky, and nowadays randomly delete good threads while allowing troll threads and other threads cancerous to the community to stay up. Not even they know what's supposed to go here because we have one vague rule, despite the fact that for years the board has been home to the occult, conspiracy, weird, and creepy things. Self-moderation is culled, so effectively there is no possibility for change.
