Going to get the boot where I live now, and have been thinking about just moving into my car. It's illegal to live in your car in my city, but Walmarts and the local truck stop have people doing it.
Any experiences with this sort of thing? Advice?

Let's say you're stranded without tools far from civilization, how would you cut your hair?
I have long hair and I generally don't cut it. Its terminal length is not ridiculous so it doesn't really get too unmanageable as long as I tie it up. But I understand that long hair is not super practical. I just like it. But I suppose you could knap some flint to be sharp enough to shear yer locks.

Look up "Rite in the Rain" notepads. They've got lots of different products. The paper might curl a little bit if they get drenched, but it won't go soft and disintegrate like regular paper. However, keep in mind that just because the paper is waterproof, it doesn't mean your ink is. Grease pencil is probably your best bet, though you should also experiment with whatever ink you normally use, as maybe it's waterproof enough.
