Here are some ground rules:
1. No samples; oceangrunge is not vaporwave.
2. No joke sounds and/or joke art; oceangrunge is not a meme.
3. At least half of the tracks must have lyrics.
If any of these violates the ground rules then they will be discarded.

Also, what did you think of the latest oceangrunge album?
Did the guy who claimed Infinite Tide ever finish it?
This guy is cool too.
What do you think of Microtonal Music, /mu/? On a microtonal guitar the the frets (half steps) are divided up further. Here's an example :

What?

I think so, some of my favorite music puts me into a pretty unemotional state
Pic related gets me apathetic as fuck but I still love it
I guess they can, but they can't understand the lyrics. Also they are more likely to clinge to one or two genres only.
I can't stop listening to this album, /mu/
I just fucking love the odd, sad feeling the guitar playings giving me, kinda reminds me of old Modest Mouse or maybe more obviously, GBV
ALSO that moment when they finally come in hard during Echo, Bravo, goddamn
Can anyone recommend some similar feeling albums?
I've always considered them to be kinda similar to Pinback, but Pinback has a less lofi sound
Check out their s/t or Offcell

Exactly the reason why I love it too, I've had it on a lot for the past few weeks. It's like a depressing summer afternoon.

Please listen to this OP.
It's Duster with more loud/soft dynamic changes. Really really great album /mu/ rarely talks about. Great band in general.

Edward Boatner Jr lived the life.
He lived to play music and spent a considerable amount of his time touring, playing & recording.
Do you have a favorite record by this titan?
inb4 he ripped-off Bird
>>53233593
nobody knows him by that name nigga
his early prestige records are really good- Kaliedescope, Stitt/Powell/Johnson...
he had some good ones on verve too. The "For Musicians Only" record with Dizzy and Getz is a favorite
and some of his later records are good too. Especially the Muse records if you can find them. Constellation, 12, The Champ... I think those are the ones I've heard and I know there are a few others

Are The Cranberries shoegaze?
What shoegaze albums have more emphasis on drones? I know that The Goslings and Have a Nice Life and Nadja and The Angelic Process have a lot of these but they're all very dark and brooding, which I like, but I'm looking for some dreamier stuff.
The only band that comes to mind is lovesliescrushing, and I'm just assuming there's most bands out there like that. I'm looking really sugary sweet shoegaze that also a a big emphasis on repetition. So if anyone has that, that would be cool.
What musician's death hit you the hardest? Pic related for me.
Is Nujabe dead ?
For me, Jay Dillaz.
i'd hit amy winehouse hard
Let's talk about this masterpiece
favorite track off part 1 is Cock/Ver10, favorite off part 2 is Taking Control whats yours

Part 1 would be Mt Saint Michel + Saint Michaels Mount
Part 2 would be a tie between Afx237 v.7 and QKThr. I also really like the automated percussion tracks
