This is the best rap album of all time. It's literally the Pet Sounds of hip hop. Nobody has combined a five-part harmony with rap as successfully, and every. single. song is memorable. No bullshit skits, not idiotic sex raps, the social commentary is subtle, the ignorant nigga shit is subdued, it's literally the most accomplished thing out of the genre.
The only other album that even comes close is Midnight Marauders.

Phill collins is one of the few pop artists that had a ton os commercial success from that decade, that has zero effect on me. His songs aren't even catchy ffs, how the fuck he sold so many albums? Maybe he has a bunker somewhere with millions of his own records that he "sold" idk...
As a drummer, yeah.
As a solo artist? Nah.

i saw them a few months ago. singer was either completely stoned or played a really good stoner act. either way it was a little disappointing because they promised to PLAY ALL NIGHT UNTIL THIS PLACE KICKS US OUT WOOOOO then played 10 or 12 songs and left after an hour and a half.
good show though.
Holy FUCK, I loved KILS but this is just something else. Kicked It In The Sun especially blew me away. This could potentially be a 9.5-10/10 for me.
