>if I could have it back
Reminder that 2010 was 6 years ago.
>>63552992
Tfw when the year I was born Loveless, Spiderland, and Nevermind were released. I'm a grandpa now.
Goddamn do I love this album.
I recently bought the deluxe edition because the standard version I bough six years ago was getting a bit beat on, which came with the expected bonus shit but also this fantastic, completely unexpected reworked version of "Wasted Hours" which sort of melts into this key change thing at the end. As good as the extras were, that was probably my favorite moment of the deluxe edition

Om + Kyuss
Damn that would be groovy as fuck
I'm new to Soul music.
Is there an essentials chart of some sort?
What should I start with?
What's Goin' On by Marvin Gaye is an absolute must listen. Otis Blue by Otis Redding, You Got My Mind Messed Up by James Carr, I've Never Loved a Man Life I Love You by Aretha Franklin, Curtis by Curtis Mayfield, and Pastel Blue by Nina Simone are all excellent.
What the guy above me said, Otis Redding and Curtis Mayfield are gods
Get one of those best of Motown samplers then a Stax one if it exists.
I get some of their older albums being considered "experimental" but why is that term used for these albums? This is literally indie pop.
Is it because they use whacky effects sometimes?
>>63552711
"experimentalism" (read:noisemaking) is overrated
>>63552711
The second half of Feels and half the tracks of Strawberry Jam are far from indie pop. Everything else is pop, but it's pretty ambitious for pop. A lot of MPP is built upon repetition and the use of samples is unique for pop.
>>63552711
its not really indie pop except for feels. also this >>63552970
Listen to other indie albums at the time, and you'll see they dont really fall together.
The stupid album

The Wall, t b h
>>63552690

RYM says the genres are
>Glitch Hop, Christmas Music, Chiptune
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqJ2iZ8HJcc
i cant find anything comparable :/
I need music with these things in it
>passionate vocals with personality
>strong melodic qualities
>quality screaming
>explosive and disorienting drums
>strong dynamics
>abrupt and unpredictable song structures
>Lots of instrumentation
Pic related, I love it. Doesn't have to be Japanese. I also really enjoy DG, but would like to listen to something that steers away from hip hop. Thanks for any recs.
>>63552671
Most melodic metal I guess

ITT: fuccgirl-core
great album desoo
i love this album tho
dm are off limits from memeing
DM are fucking garbage.
Whoever took the first screencap edited the number of seeders and leechers for some reason. I think he wanted to make it look like a public leak of this was inevitable but it's not.
I was lucky enough to have left my tab open but WCD staff have taken this down for the time being. These 50-odd people along with a select few who took advantage of the bandcamp mistake are the only ones who have it. And out of all of them I know, nobody wants to risk upping it somewhere else.
god damn it, is a free vinyl really that important you stupid hipsters?
>>63552621
What about zippyshare? You don't need an account.
>>63552621
honestly who gives a shit
Need some jungle esque breakcore. Can also be a little drum n' bassy.
Already familiar with bong ra and venetian snares.
Not a fan of anything that sounds hardstyle-ish or japanese.
Want something that goes hard with good drum breaks that maintain a good rolling rhythm and might get a little glitchy towards the highest points of the tracks but isn't necessarily inherently noisy.
Not a fan of shitty filler tracks like you could see on Bikini Bandits Kill Kill Kill.
If u can help you might have good fortune in your future
DEADLY DEEP SUBS

DIANA DIANA KICK YOUR FEET UP
This comes out in a week and still no leak. Anybody else excited?
EWBA was average. Kinda left everyone off the Weezer train a little bit.
Hope they can bring it back.
Out of all the singles already released, Do You Wanna Get High is without a question the best and it's only mediocre at best. Weezer hype is dead for a reason desu m8.
I kind of like to think that EWBAITE was the last thing they ever put out and let them fade from my memory.
>>63552394
I was under the impression that EWBA was their best album in years
