If you think D'Angelo an overrated hack, why do you listen to him still?
Not a single good album has dropped this year yet.
Prove me wrong (you can't)

Denzel Curry is the closest thing we have to a modern day 2pac.

What piece of music/song would you play for aliens to prove that human music is the superior music to the pleb trash that aliens probably listen to?
Only good music. Bad music will result in human extinction.

Bach, Mozart and Beethoven are enough.

As long as you post music discussion and not le dank memes you're cool m8.
Did this only change hip-hop, or music as a whole?
Use details and evidence to support your claim.
Neither. Don't get me wrong it's a great wrong but it hasn't shown much influence in hip-hop, and there've been plenty of better albums before it.
Again, it's a great album but it didn't change anything.
I haven't been following contemporary music too seriously in the past few years, but I think MBDTF opened the door for "emotional" rappers like J Cole, Drake, and Future. Hell, I'd say Yung Lean and Bones wouldn't be where they are today without this album.
