I’m just here for adorable talking horses and I get long winded analysis on all the little flaws and people saying why such and such’s opinion is worse. They’re littering the pony sites. I know those feels all too well starlight. A few years ago my childhood friend left me like an asshole. After he left I cried somewhat and told myself that having friends was retarded. Then I discovered a bunch of people who loved this show called my little pony. It brightened up my situation and I warmed up to the idea of social experiances again. Even now I sometimes get upset occasionally when one my online friends spends time with their local friends. I get that feeling of abandonment. It bottles up in the pit of my stomach. I feel less important, like I dont matter. Like local friends are the most retarded thing, and I should try and ruin it for my other friends. .(I obviously don’t do that though. Ive got a theropist). To try and feel better about myself. I dont even have any local friends and can get kind of jealous of those that do. So when I see people complain about how her redemption is stupid, it kinda rubs me the wrong way. Whether this is mental condition or not is a non-issue. I cried like a fag at the end of the episode.

She is like Moondancer in that she has given up on friends because every friend she's ever had has walked out on her because they get harassed for associating with a horned freak.
She is often transferred to new school to get away from bullies, but it never does any good. The next school on the list is your school, and the teacher has chosen you to be her 'buddy' so she can get settled in here.

Right about blocking the hits, also Starlight had a head start having twilight to cast several times a high tier spell before the battle, plus whatever magic she had to do on every world. Also assume she's also using her magic to let spike float/fly in the mean time while Starlight is doing the same on herself.

And assuming it's not about magical power (although the battle pretty much gave that in with Starlight using hers to battle and fly) couldn't Twilight use a more believable way to show her point? Because that's not a vendetta you make up for in a 2 minutes speech... They could've had Twilight to modify the scroll to bring Starlight back when she did and try to reason on every world, and I didn't have to squeeze my brain to come up with it...
For the unbalance of powers and the weak plot resolving (very close to Deus Ex Machina) I'd give it a 3/10... Considering it's not an intricate show by nature, but I want my consistency!!!
