Does anybody else feel like the show has lost a bit of it's fantasy "edge" ? I still enjoy new episodes, and I know the show has always blended more modern/real life stuff with a fantasy setting but I can't help but feel like recently it leans much more toward the former than the latter for some reason....like when's the last time we saw a mythical creature or monster just being part of the general landscape?

Fantasy is still a big part of it obviously, it's about talking horses. But the setting seems to be a lot closer to a version of the real world where it's ponies and not people rather than a completely fantastical animal world full of strange creatures

Because if we can do this with Fallout, why the hell not with Warhammer 40k? Plus, I just like making settings.
Anyway, In this thread I'm looking to basically create a ponified version of the warhammer 40000 setting not unlike what was done with Fallout Equestria and I'd like help creating it. Most importantly, I need help with the determining the identities of some of the other Alicorn Princesses' along with names for their Legions/Chapters, etc. Other things outside of the Pony Imperium are also welcome and open for the undertaking.

I kinda like the idea that Fausticorn is the emprah. It's fitting that she lays upon the golden throne looking over us.
But at the same time it fits better for the whole Celestia / Luna banishment thing to mirror the Horus Heresy.
How would warp powers work? Would magic as we know by psyker stuff? On one hand it would be interesting to see ponies distrust unicorns because of their connection to the warp but then psyker subtleties would be lost. But it fits nicely to think that if the warp is a representation of collective unconscious that is why in the show...
