Crystal Empire was good but the Failure/Success songs were among the worst in the series.
Twlicorn was rushed but the songs in MMC were good and season 4 redeemed Twilight's rushed ascension in addition to fleshing out Discord's reformation.
Wonderbolts Academy is perhaps Rainbow Dash's best episode and one of the best episodes in the series. Sleepless in Ponyville was also great.
The only really bad episodes were SAYS and Apple Family Reunion, plus the fact that they changed SAYS meant no solo episode for best pony,.
