im thinking about switching to polymer coated bullets
i normally use copper plated bullets for reloading but the polymer ones seem to be alot cheaper.
anyone have experiance shooting the polymer coated bullets from eggleston munitions?
i guess no one is into reloading on this board.

US is going to start equipment in Vietnam and Cambodia as well as other Asian nations in the coming years. While most of the equipment in Vietnam and Cambodia is going to be non lethal, it paves the way for American military presence in Vietnam, something which has not been seen since the end of the Second Indochina war. In addition to that, there is the possibility of spillover effect into other nations bordering the South China sea and the possibility of increased military cooperation between Vietnam and the United States (as well as its allies).
Looks like the US is set to make amends with an old foe. And Vietnam has shown that while the past is not forgotten, the present dangers to its security means it has to make new friends.

The US fucked up in Vietnam but did the right thing and pulled out. The US is currently seen positively in the region, though it dipped during Bush Jr tenure. ASEAN countries has woken up and arming themselves against China. My own country, Malaysia is belatedly constructing 6 more stealth frigates based on the extended French Gowind platform, with proper anti ship capabilities after China repeated came to potato distance of our shores.
Singapore is buying F35s while Indonesia, Vietnam and even poor Phillipines are also buying modern frigates. Slowly, but surely, ASEAN will eventually become a political-military alliance against China if China keep to provocating us. Old rivalries will be put on hold when facing an implacable enemy. The US knows this and is trying to capitalise politically. And frankly, we welcome it.

Just how effective is the S-400 system?
Whenever it's brought up on the internet there seems to be a somewhat mystical fear of the S-300/S-400. People believe that it is extremely difficult to counter leaving only the US with a doctrine effective enough to remove the system. People seem to believe even the US would be hurting while running SEAD (am I using that term right?) against the S-400 system.
For any true ground to air autists here:

Here was the projected range as Russia announced the arrival of the S-400 to Syria. I believe one was an air base for Russia in the North, and the other was if a system was posted in Damascus.
Could be wrong, but the point was that the system covered most of Syria. Making a US no-fly-zone untenable and further dis-incentivizing Turks from flying across the border.

Depends. Who's my target customer? What kind of doctrine do they use? What's the quality of engines I can expect? Or avionics and weapons? Those all are huge factors in design.
