Need help figuring out what's going on here.
These came in at 10 pm EST at Bryans Road Maryland, approx 4 miles outside the Indian Head naval station.
Large convoy of EMS, fire, state, county, and base police accompanied these trucks.
They promptly pulled into the food lion, then set back down the highway.
There was no effort to cordon the area or enact secrecy, but the truck's look wierd.
There were also a number of what looked like low security prisioner transport buses, similar to the correctional department ones.

You will not get sent to language school as a new officer, that route is only for enlisted. Very, very few officers go to language school.
Be aware that Army OCS is competitive to get in and to actually graduate. If you fail OCS you will remain enlisted in an MOS of the Army's choosing for the remainder of your contract.

i come to you with a question that i hope you enthusiasts/experts will be able to answer:
What are the reasons/parameters, for the Navies around the world to define the operating depth of their submarines?
Why are there submarines that only dive to about 200 meters like in WW2 and others that go much deeper like 600 or even more meters?
I know the deterministic fact is the construction/design - but whats the reason for the decision to build it for an operating depth of XXX meters?
Anything strategical? Is it only about shekels?

as seen in the picture for example the diesel powered very cheap subs are not going to dive very long and very deep. i kind of understand that those are designed for this usual depth then.
but whats about the different depths of the nuclear powered subs?
why do they differ? why is sub A designed to operate in a depth of 400m, while sub B is designed to operate in a depth of 600m ?

Physics - Every submarine (as in each specific submarine not class) will have a different operating maximum and theoretical maximum.
This is dependant on the welds and history of that specific sub. A first in class sub for the US and UK will always have a hamstrung operating and not to exceed depth. this is because the first in class goes through more vigirous...
