Why does new ammo usually come scratched/dented?
Granted, I usually buy cheapo stuff like blazer, but even these federal HST are pretty scratched up.
Machining, storage, jostling?
I have a better question, what's the deal with these pictures? Are some cartridges really squared-off like this? Haven't seen any in real life or in video so I'm guessing it's a trick of the light but you never know.

Could a propeller plane be deployed successfully if it was dropped vertically from a floating hangar? Say, if it were hanging from clamps inside a giant zeppelin with a big enough hole in the bottom to allow this sort of thing?
Basically, if the propellers were fired up before the thing was dropped, could a plane actually right itself after being dropped like this, provided sufficient height?

Cheap? Not really compared to some other sidearms.
They are metal framed firearms and very robust so you are also paying for whatever semblance of Quality-assurance and Craftsmanship SIG has left.
I have not seen any "niggers" using sig autoloaders.
You will find Sigs and Glocks are probably two of the most popular brands for sidearms with law enforcement and among special forces.

I just don't understand desu. I get replacing M14s or whatever DMR the army used to use with an AR10, but this is simply replacing an AR10 with an AR10. They tout the QD suppressor as a feature, but M110s have them too. The weight loss isn't impressive either since the M110 barrel is like 3 inches longer than the G28s and has a bunch less plastic parts. What an inscrutable waste of cash.

M14 was not a great choice but they made do with what they had.
M110 was an excellent replacement for a variety of reasons.
It seems that this new rifle is not offering anything except a new HK contract (along with their 416 and IAR contracts)
I am a fan of pistons but the M110 had no issues. Now we have a heavier and less accurate weapon for the sake of a minor increase in reliability and a major decrease in logistics.
So /k/ does anyone here have actual experience with deployment? I'm currently in the ARNG, and was wondering if anyone can tell me what the process before it involves before you leave?
You'll be on active guard orders for a few weeks packing up the armory. Then a couple months of pre-mobilization training at JRTC or NTC or whatever, then head out.

Its honestly what it is. A hundred to a hundred fifty dollar derringer. Fuckers loud though, and much more pop than you'd expect from a 9mm, even as a derringer if that makes sense. Well, it finally happened. I had an ND the other day. I recently moved to little Nigeria and there are nogs everywhere, breaking into random houses and cars damn near every day.
