Saw something that looked like a S&W model 10, forgot the brand name though. In .38/.38sp, swing out cylinder, double action. Same styling as a model 10, like 30s police revolver. Just don't know the brand, starts with an E and is pretty short. Any ideas? He only wanted 225

21st birthday is coming up, and im saving for my first pistol. I would prefer it to be not full sized for concealed carry,and also not a small fortune. What are good options? I have my eye on a p250 subcompact right now, but thats my uneducated stab in the dark.

Was the first gun I purchased. I wanted something simple and reliable so that I could focus on getting comfortable safely handling and maintaining firearms, and then moved to cooler stuff later
The trigger on my p250 was terrible. My springfield xdm is nice for a smaller gun. Plus the p250 had a thicker slide on it than my full size glock 21.
I'm going to buy my first rifle, a .22LR weapon, shortly.
I'd like to buy some earpro with it : what kind of items would /k/ recommend ?
I recommend buying earplugs and a 22 rifle.

Seriously. I won't go to three of five gun shops in my town because when I first started shooting they treated me like some kind of fucking retard (and I knew more than average about what I wanted thanks to this board)

Considering the average age of your average gun shop employee and manager, combined with less than incredible business sense (because for a long time, and even now to a certain extent) you don't need to into differentiation, and creating that differentiation, while not particularly difficult to do if you aren't a fudd set in your ways, is a harder sell than paying someone to handle some online advertising
