now here's what we all know: there's plenty of Europeans fighting for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Also, there's plenty of Americans and Europeans fighting against them with the Kurds, at least 2 /k/ommandos are confirmed to have been fighting with them also.
What i did not know, was that there was a US army vet fighting with the FSA. Seems like he then joined Al-Nusra, and was operating in a RPG team. Being in Special forces does not make you necessarily capable of all the tasks and requirements of being a State trooper. It's a different animal my friend.
Everyone needs to be on a level playing field to insure a basic minimum level of knowledge, "SOF" or not.
And I am saying this as a marine who is now a MD state trooper.

But, yeah. BHPs are good. I've been eyeballing getting me an Isreali one for awhile now.
BHPs are pretty neat. I'll have one as a pistol just to have one of someday. Realistically though, I think it's pretty well best suited to being a collectible nowadays. Not to say it isn't capable, just a little dated.
Do it, my Israeli surplus BHP had a lot of finish wear but very little internal wear. After stripping it down, cleaning everything, and replacing the springs for $20 it was 100% reliable with everything I put through it.
I had mine Cerakoted and I CC it when the weather allows (pretty much 4-5 months out of the year). It's very comfy and 15 rounds of 9mm from an all steel gun makes it really easy to shoot fast as the weight really dampens 9mm's already low recoil.

Project Guns Thread
I'm gonna refinish a mosin stock. How do i retain the red shellacy look but also upgrade the finish to withstand weeklong waterlogged hunting trips. I need me a rifle that can do both, sit on a mantle and look pretty, and kill moose.

planning on doing a 10/22 build, so far I have 2 things picked out;

first gun build so I wanna do it right.
Pick the finish at home depot, make sure it's not cheap, make sure it's weatherproof, like for fences or a garage door. It's super easy, I buy shit guns with shit stocks and refinish them and sell it for a pretty penny. No pics am on mobile. Sand it first tho. All the Nicks and dings in the stock.
