I saw this on online and for a second, it actually got me wondering.
What if the Roman Empire existed as it did back then up to today? Like, how the hell would the soviet state react to such a thing? Most of their union would be in the Roman lines so there'd be. What.

So gunpocalypse is going down in my old home state of California and even though I moved away several years ago I still follow their gun laws. Apparently AB 1663 and AB 1664 would require and semi auto rifle with a detachable magazine with the use of a "bullet button" to be registered as an "assault weapon" and ban the future sale of rifles that do not come with a fixed magazine. What does that even mean? I've seen descriptions that state the firearm would literally have to be taken apart in order to change the magazine out or reload. Are they talking about having to use an allen wrench or something? Not talking about gun control, mods just asking about how the mechanics of such a faggoty rifle might work.

Some time ago when people were still trying various different ways to get around CA retardation an alternative to bullet buttons I recall seeing was an AR15 where the upper/lower opened on a hinge to allow mag access, with the pin at the other end holding it having some sort of clasp/handle arrangement so you could remove/replace it quickly.
Wouldn't work for anything else but an AR I guess, and maybe it eventually got ruled as not sufficiently dismantling it to count, idk it was ages ago and I cba trying to track it down and find out.
Cold steel makes quality knives for the price. Their ram lock design is brilliant and they have decent materials.
Also mikovs are very unrealiable for locking.

A break action pellet gun is an ideal weapon for a survival situation because it is quiet, ammo is cheap and plentiful, and will allow you to easily kill small game without wasting a bullet or worrying about breaking an arrow.

you would have to shoot for the head to cause any serious injury, which in a self defense situation wouldn't help your odds getting a hit on target
with a larger round, aiming for center mass means a poorly placed shot could still at least hit a target in the shoulder/arm/gut
aiming for the head would mean a missed shot would have no effect at all
and as has been mentioned, 22's don't feed reliably
there are a multitude of small calibers for hold out guns/pocket pistols out there.

Hey /k/. Don't post in this board much, but having just recently re-watched Star Wars, it got me thinking about armored walking vehicles.
Under what circumstances,if any, would walking tanks be preferable over traditional tracked or wheeled tanks? If not a good idea now, will technology and/or circumstances ever make legged tanks a practical tool on the battlefield?

Maneuvering through rough terrain is the only benefit I see, but even then we'd just fly over it in the first place and never encounter the rough terrain so I really don't see any purpose.

Looking to add an SMG to my collection. It is between the CZ Scorpion or the MP5 clone from Atlantic...
