My boyfriend just bought himself an FN-FAL a week or two ago and his birthday is next month.
He seems really endeared with his new gun and I was thinking maybe I'd gift him an accessory for it.
So my question is, what is a nice attachment for an FN-FAL (A1, brit) that I could get him? Preferably below 500$.

Can I actually carry and use anything in cities if I'm in Canada? I walk through a godawful neighbourhood every day for work, pass by crackhead fucks on the daily. In a few months I'm going to be passing through it and waiting at the bus stop for school, and I'm going to be carrying a wallet, phone and laptop. Any advice on not getting robbed?

On any given day, I leave the house with a .40 Sig 320 Carry at four o'clock IWB, a .357 Chiappa Rhino in a crossdraw shoulder rig, a Snake Slayer IV in my back right pocket and a 9mm Glock 43 inside my left ankle.
I've been told that maybe this is too much gun but that sounds like crazy talk to me.

But hating the P22 doesn't necessarily mean that you're a walther hater, because walther doesn't even make the P22. It's made by Umarex, an AIRSOFT company. That pistol is going to beat itself apart, have fun with your scrap metal 2000 rounds from now, which is no time at all with .22.

I own more (and others not in the pic), but I only regularly use two.
I said two days ago that I would dump whatever photos I took of a yearly event I go to. There are typically many interesting firearms that show up, and several are legal full-auto, milsurp or rarities.
I kind of fucked up on pictures this year. I didn't take as many as I usually do because I was too busy throwing lead at the pit, so I'll dump previous photos as well.
Unfortunately no M2's showed up this year, but we had a DP-25 and the classic Maxim return. Since I've photographed these before, I did not bother to do so this year.

So I'm a gunsmithing student, and I will need to build a custom rifle to graduate.
As I will need a barrel for it, I'm currently looking at different barrel manufacturers, and I just would like to know what /k/ thinks of different barrel manufacturers, as all I've been told so far is to stay away from E.R. Shaw.
Also I get a hefty discount on Shilen barrels thru my school. Are they good? Anyone have experience with them?
Any other manufacturers to look at?

Shillen is fine especially as a first time blank for you to cut your teeth on. Reamed and crowned well with a good load they are capable of shooting better than most people who end up buying any rifles you make for them can.
If you want to build something special for your graduation rifle then you may consider a Bartlein, Brux, or Kreiger blank.
