Are there any pistol carbines that would be useful in actual combat?
What practical role do pistol carbines fill, anyway, besides just being fun to shoot?
>>30378077
A lot of PDWs are pistol caliber.

- stoping power
+weight of ammo and gun

Good if you dont expect your enemys to have some body armore, excelent if you need to shoot in smal rooms

>They will never make one of these in 10mm or 5.7mm
10% of US Army soldiers are in such poor health they cant be deployed.
http://www.janes.com/article/61671/non-deployable-soldiers-becoming-problematic-for-us-army
This is what happens when you fill a military with non career soldiers who just want government handouts.
>>30378051
Name one army that is 100% deployable at all times.
Protip: you can't. It doesn't happen.

Name a military that has a bigger problem with it soldiers fitness.
So I'm selling my pos Century RAS-47 and will be getting 500 dollars soon when this guy decides to finally buy it.
Been thinking of getting a Tokarev pistol in 7.62x25 now that I'm 21, it only has 8 rounds but has quite the stopping power and has the ability to penetrate class 3 body armor so i hear from the internets.
Any Tok owners here? Can ya help a /k/tard out and give me the low down if it's great or it's another pos? Is it good for a ccw?
I got a Romanian ttc from J&G 2 weeks ago. I havent shot it but the pistol was in excellent shape. It's a range toy for me so I'm not gonna carry it.
It's a solid little slav gun for fairly cheap. Ammo is getting pricier but you can still get surplus for 30 cpr if you look around.
Wish I could tell you more. I'll probably be breaking it in this weekend though.

>>30378005
One other thing. The Tokarev is stupidly simple. It breaks down into 8 parts. It's a breeze to clean out.
What was this thing based on? Also why was it .32 in Fallout 3 and .308 in New Vegas?
>>30377924
Because Fallout 3 is garbage.
>>30377924
It's a Winchester 70 I think

Need I say more?

Rheinmetall made a new IFV for the export market, primarily for Australia's M113 replacement.

Looks nice but what about Puma?
They haven't replaced all those Marders with Pumas and they already designed new IFV?
>>30378092
>Looks nice but what about Puma?
Too expensive for Aussies
Lynx is "Marder Evolution" with a Lance turret
>>30378092
The new IFV "lynx" is designed for the Australian market to replace the ageing m113as4's.
It is summer and it is hot as balls but that shouldn't stop you from operatin'.

Fuck yes.
Any advice on what to get next
Ok firstly this isn't that normal cunting thread of "oh are women equal to men blah blah"
My question is are there any countries that require the exact same physical standards for both men and women to join.
Do these armies have a higherclass of female soldiers? (I don't specifically mean equal just higher standard)
How do the women in these militaries compare to other countries such as the USA.
Are men and women equal though? I've never seen a shred of evidence that they are, desu
Are women capable of selfless love or do they fall in and out of love based on what a man can provide for them?

>Are women capable of selfless love or do they fall in and out of love based on what a man can provide for them?
Quite the truth you have there.
>>30377727
>>30377830
Certainly women are capable of "selfless love" . I'm almost certain your mothers loved your sorry asses since you survived to adulthood to shitpost on their gender.
/k/ needs to realize the joke it is/has always been: juvenile boys using militaria and firearms to feel like men.
The government isn't out (yet) to get your guns.
Women, while not physically the same strength as men, are strong. And deserve much...

What does /k/ think of this non NFA other firearm- practical or merely a range toy?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpLNy3DTcBk&channel=UC391ELPAgXHTuTCHX6sJIFA
Are there any states that ban it specifically?
>>30377691
And how about this monstrosity? Useful at all or worthless junk? It looks ugly and hard to aim/point but it is small and holds a lot of shells:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WP5KbWOe64g&channel=UCAt-Dw4uRUV6U-hED3a5ssQ
Is this one banned in any states specifically either?
Also why do people still use that bulky SIG brace when this blade one is so much lighter and slimmer?
I made one, they are fun, not much practicality that I can find.

Would be sweet as an auto loader.
Who are some of the greatest military leaders of the last few decades?
To start with, I present the "Iranian Erwin Rommel": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qasem_Soleimani
Serbs turn white as ghosts with his mention or the 5th corps.

Stormin' fuckin' Norman.

Wow what a beast.
>besieged for 4 years by at least 3 seperate forces
>breaks out and takes a bunch of towns and directly threatened banja luka which is the capital of RS
Looks like if America didn't end that war Serbs wouldn't even exist in Bosnia.
What would an EU army look like /k/?
Would they adopt one specific tank, fighter, main rifle or would there be a clusterfuck of different equipment?
Would they be the sum of all their parts or would we see a small detachment of 20k troops from each country?
Saying as this is now actually happening due to the /k/ucks in my country voting remain I'm just wondering what we're in for.
Rifle's gonna be either HK, FN or some clusterfucked joint venture like the Eurofighter.
Like nothing because nobody would fight for the EU even if forced into it.

I would, but only to suicide with if I got captured. Seems like a classic case of American autism to this Ausfag

It was mass issued to Marines who conducted recon on Islands set for invasion and other special assignments. Not a "spies" weapon. The majority were never used as the Marines thought they were impractical and left them behind. Who want's to wear a gardening glove with a one shot pistol built in?

Sup /k/, I've got a question. I've been lurking and casual posting for about 2 years now, and have seen countless pistol caliber threads, all arguing about 9mm, 10mm, .45 and so on. Only every now and then did I see 5.7 mentioned and it was generally in passing, so I never looked closer.
Upon further inspection, it seems to have been HAILED as categorically better by all examinations than the other available options, with literal bans pushed for legislation cuz it's that fooking good.
Now, I'm just reading wikipedia, so many things could be...

It's a meme round. It barely performs as well as they claim and even still, it's intended to be used with AP rounds that you can't legally buy. So what's the fucking point?
>>30377353
Because, it sucks. Also it's too god damn expensive for such a shit tier round.
It has no range or accuracy, everything that runs it is stupid expensive, and the cartridge itself is as well.
Just buy a fucking 9mm, it does the same as every other handgun cartridge.
If you really want to be that guy, go .50AE or .500S&W.

If Brexit happens will the English aviation industry be revived?
>inb4 tsr-2 v2.0
Nothing will change, military-budget-wise, after Brexit.
That will only change if the Brits elect someone who has vowed to increase military spending.
As much as I would have liked TSR-2 not to be cancelled by FUCKING LABOUR, it is an obsolete airframe :c
>>30377281
No.
They have strong military bounds with France so they will remain in the FCAS project, and everything else will be pretty much the same.
Any nightcrawler's on duty tonight? How goes it?
A bit much for community watch don't you think? Unless you live in Detroit or Missouri, which in that case you may need more.
