Does /k/ know its ABCs? Lets make them together.
A is for Arabs, who cant win a war.
>>30369633
B is for Browning, the greatest of all
A is for americans who lost against arabs in iraq and afghanistan
Ps. They did a great job winning the crusades
>>30369633
C is for Colt. They make nice pistols
The more minimal the better.

Looks like the 64 bit gun you get from a sentry in the first stage of Goldeneye
Help me identify this gun /k/
Looks like a copy or bubba of sw5906 compact
To me it kinda looks like a Taurus 92fs, but it looks too short to be one.

not those
What is /k/ ear protection of choice?
Peltor tacticalpro with the gel cup upgrade
I use double hearing protection. Foam plugs and Howard Leight Impact Sports.
>>30368846
I use the cheap thin electronic one that's always on sale, howard something.
I decided to purchase a MN 91/30 yesterday.
Out the door it was $265.XX after all taxes et al.
It has a few minor scratches but otherwise the furniture is in good-great condition. All the numbers match, even on the included bayonet. It has a round receiver and is in good, working, firing order.
Did I overpay?
I paid $350 the other day for a 91/30 hex receiver in good condition with ammo pouch, bayonet, sling and an oil canister. All matching serials as well.
I think you did pretty good, all things considered.
>>30368654
Mine also included the ammo pouch w/ canteen and ~90% de-cosmoline'd
I just wanted to make sure because I had some friends tell me it wasn't worth the cash.
>>30368654
Yep. I payed about $360 for this at a gun show a few weeks ago.

Has anyone here done a Galil build? What receiver did you use? Is it too complicated for a half-retarded beginner like me? Should I just send it to my local gunsmith?
>>30368096
Holy shit, I just hit up my gunsmith and he said they can put together parts kits for $30. Is that a good deal?
Pls
>>30368123
You're sure they mean Galil/AK parts kits and not AR kits?
Unless they're working at light speed, for $30 they're paying themselves like 6 dollars an hour.
I will be traveling from Chicago to Colorado this July, and I want to bring my rifle with me.
We plan on doing some shooting at the ranch there.
We will be driving.
I have a FIOD
Can I just bring it with me? What are the rules on transporting a firearm across state lines?
Drive with it hanging out the window in plain sight, remember to yell random shit and fire a few rounds off at each state line.... good luck jackass. ..
>>30368001
Freedom of movement laws brah. Federally, any firearm you legally own you can transport across state lines as long as you're only transporting them, and no state or local governments can do shit about it. Pretty sure you need to keep them locked in a case, with any ammo stored separately.
Depending on which states you have to through though, there may be a different definition of ”movement”. IIRC some states don't care if you stop to do whatever on your way through, while others will hassle you...

This is correct
Best bet it unloaded mags/ammo locked separately, then your guns (with locks inserted) inside of locked cases, and not in your passenger cabin

I love my model 10-8. Fun to shoot and I bring it most trips. Most of its charm was the $300 price tag though. Are you ordering a new production model 10? Get a police trade in beater for cheap m8.

Hello /k/,
I have decided to finally pursue my dream of working in the firearms industry by becoming a gunsmith and was hoping that some anons would have some advice.
Where can/should I study? What should I pursue? A 2 year degree or 6 month certification? Are online courses worth anything? Any and all advice is appreciated
>where
If eastern us, Pennsylvania Gunsmith School, outside Pittsburgh. If western, Colorado School of Trades. They're pretty much considered the best.
>degree/cert
PGS is 16 months, CST is 14

nope lel, AGI has a couple good vids on certain weapons, but besides that they're all trash

Tfw you live an hour away from detroit
There are no structure's near me to do this with but I may make it work with an abandoned camera trailer about 5 miles from my land. Will that suffice?
