Carry? Range use? Home defense? Need more details nigga
Unfortunately can't carry bc I'm a califag but home defense bc I live in a bad neighborhood and practice at the range
>>27797124
No carry means there's no downside to a larger pistol. Larger pistols are always better if you're not worried about concealability, they're easier to use, less recoil, hold more bulletz, etc. But since you're a 10rd max califag, the P220 has 10rd .45 mags and a rail for a weaponlight for home defense.
I had a great day, /k/. Pic related. Feeling sentimental. Share your hunting pics, hunting trophys, funs, whatever.

I say ITT we post stupidest anti-gun things you've ever heard, I'll start

"There's two majority black schools in this city."
>>27797004
>the NRA bribes Congress to let everyone run around with machineguns from gun show loopholes!
This was from an English professor.
>OH yeah shitlord, name ONE time a good guy with a gun has ever stopped a bad guy with a gun.
>*Provide 30 examples*
>Those are all fake, cracker.
Well I am the top bidder on this for $10.50. About $25 when you add shipping and syrupbucks conversion.
How good are these? Should I get so none else to bid if it's shit?
>>27796997

What issues does it have? Is any other versions better? What would you recommend. Searching gas masks on eBay.
Been a few days already hasn't it?
My plates came in, so I can finally start training with armor.
While this pleases me, I've discovered I've 2 different kits could use, and I'm going to dedicate this weekend to finding out which one I like more.
I could work with just the RACK. 8 magazines, water, and medical all on the chest, no belt, no sub load bullshit. The big argument for this kit is that it's simple, rifle only. As I've said before, my unit is basic infantry, and we don't get issued sub belts or dump pouches or fancy fucking tacos.
This also carries an amount of ammunition id like to carry out into the field. I know 6+1 is standard, but if shit goes south, 60 more rounds wouldn't hurt me. I'll experiment tomorrow, but I feel that I'm stupid fucking long in the front and that...

did you piss your pants?
Someone a few days ago asked if a .308win pistol was possible. Apparently it is http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/10/02/pachmayr-dominator-308-1911-pistol/.
What crazy rifle caliber pistols does /k/ dream of.

Early today I saw an F-35 webm that I wanted to save but I didn't have my flash drive. Now I have my flashdrive but I can't find the video in the archives. So we must have an F-35 thread for me to find it. Post pictures and especially webms of F-35.
Sure, why not?
Do you keep hidden guns in your home? Care to share locations/ideas? Here's my Beretta 92S in my bathroom for tactical shower operating.
>>27796813
Yes lets just stick out guns in the bathroom while taking a shower and allow condensation and thus rust fuck up a perfectly good piece of hardware...nice job
>>27796893
My bathroom doesn't really get that humid, and the Beretta already has some light surface rust (police trade in) but works fine. I'm not too worried about it. Faggot.
>>27796893
woah dude are you offended?
Why have i never heard of this ever? Do I just not /k/ hard enough?

/k/ i need helps
I go to the range alot, its a passion of mine. Recently my wifey wanted to take interest in my hobby. There is just one problem, she has been institutionalised multiple times in the past for bi polar. Shes stable now though...
Im aware she will never be able to own firearms (completely agree with) but im wondering if legally she can use mine at the range? Or is she just screwed 6 ways from sunday?
>>27796676
Jesus christ.
Keep her locked up and away from your fucking guns.
Crazy cunts are scarier than any living thing.
>>27796704
Im aware it sounds stupid, but jesus man it aint like shes gonna shoot me.....hmmm
>>27796676
Using a firearm under your supervision at a firing range would probably be okay, as far as I know. I am not a lawyer so don't quote me on that.
Thinking about buying this, is it any good?
>>27796488
probably not
>>27796488
Depends what the fuck are you looking for the knife to do.
When it comes to khukuris either get authentic from Khukuri House and Himalayan Import or not at all.
When my grandfather passed it down to me he said it's a captured Mauser, but I don't really see any markings on it besides an R and some serial numbers
>>27796482
From the bolt, safety, and trigger guard yeah, it's a Mauser, the barrel/wood looks odd though
>>27796541
Looks bubba'd
Could powered armor ever be useful for anything in modern warfare, or does the trump of mobility show that something this large and cumbersome would prove to be useless on the battlefield?
>>27796481
More funding for meta-materials research would be far more beneficial in the long run.
>>27796481
the only thing you could really use them for would be breaching situations
>>27796481
power armor, in the near future, is not about making you into a walking tank. it's about letting you carry the same or slightly more gear, without worrying about all the weight. it would increase mobility, not reduce it.
It seems the most 1337 komandoes don't like the wacked out all ham tacti-cool cluttered crap. (Duh) But they don't like the most basic Front-Sight-Base paired only with a rear either? Appearantly they're for plebs? Where do you draw the line between a nice LE6920 and something with everything?
I think having a fixed front, and flip up rear is ideal. Maybe a red dot if you have poor vision.
What are your basics, for an all around general purpose AR?
>>27796402
Sling, rear sight, light.
Folding front and rear
Low power variable optic that does true 1x mounted as low as possible
Muzzle brake, I will never be in a situation where muzzle flash will be a hindrance so I have no need for a FH.
45 degree non ambi selector
Extended handguard, TOB may be situational but it excels at close range target hosing.
>>27796402
>>27796402
having a red dot if you have poor vision is a shitty idea, chances are you won't be able to see a crisp dot. Better off with a 1x prismatic or a rugged 1-4x variable.
other than that, absolute minimum is good sling and good light
the next on my list is storage compartments in the grip and stock, for a backup bolt and small tubes of lube respectively. They don't really add weight/bulk and can come in real handy in a pinch.
