Dunno, maybe the Ford would be too big. I would have made Ford bigger and added the San Antonio's in there and taken out the Arleigh Burke.

Paint myself in black paint so dindus get the police chief fired for me

The UK has finally authorised bombing ISIS in Syria. A lot of British representatives were boasting about the "Brimstone" missile used by the RAF. So, let's have a Ground Attack thread. Is the Brimstone any good? Any better than Mavericks? Will it make that much of a difference in Syria?

There's this video but it seems a lot like fluff than substance.

I have no comment or knowledge on the subject except to say that Brimstone is a top tier name for a weapons system

Yes

No

You want a 9mm round that can be shot from a 3" barrel through a windshield, pass through heavy winter clothing, and penetrate and expand sufficiently.

What round do you buy?

Welp, looks like I had better get a concealed carry pistol before hildebeast and barry ban them. What pistol is best for this purpose? I love my Beretta 92FS, but she's really way too big to carry around. That's a gun to go to war with, not to have just in case of an active shooter.

Auto or revolver?

I personally use a Colt Detective Special because it weighs as much as a bottle of soda and .38 spcl ain't bad but...i mean there's always Glock.

You know, I was thinking automatic of course. But now that you mention it, I suppose I should at least consider revolvers, shouldn't I?

/k/ what were some primitive ways to clean your gun and remove rust.

I mean during the 1700s and 1800s probably early 1900s they didn't have the good stuff like we had. What did they use to maintain their funs?

>has the state of the world, be it gun laws, gun violence, wars, mass murderers and other social issues always been this prevalent?

Ever hear of a little thing called "The Hundred-Years' War"?
>>
>>28066456
The number of violent deaths and conflicts in relation to the number of people on the planet is lower than ever.

The 20th century was far more violent, even discounting the major set-piece wars, than the 21st century has been.

The "Syrian Refugee Crisis" is a hilarious, trifling drop in the bucket compared to the rivers of blood that were flowing in Rwanda, the Congo, and Central African Republic barely 20 years ago.

The prevalence of media and especially first hand video of every little injustice and 'atrocity' has increased the sense of violence and mayhem even though there is less than ever.

Surprise Surprise, people's perceptions don't match reality.

36 y/o here, yes and no
the world has always had problems. mass murders aren't new, sleazy politics isn't new,gun control isn't new (but we have more people fighting for guns now then I remember) SJW's and their issues aren't new. IMO, the big difference is
>internet
social media is based around everything now. I don't need to hear what the folks on twitter are saying about jack shit. Its lazy journalism and needs to stop.
>kids are given way to much credit
in relation the internet, nobody knows how to tell somebody to shut up anymore. IMO its all from the "every get s trophy, NOBODY LOSES :D :D" crap generation that's now grown and doesn't know how to be an adult so they blog and tweet and "protest" thinking theyre going to actually make a difference when theyre really just sitting on their hands and acting like children
the world sucks when you grow up, part of that is just shrugging it off and dealing with it and trying to enjoy what you have. Welcome to it

to impress a real life operator with your abilities or combat knowledge.

What do you do? Show them your moves, /k/.

Americu.cks on a suicide watch.

>Russia carried out the first successful flight test of a new anti-satellite missile this month, marking a new phase in the global militarization of space.

>The flight test of Russia’s direct ascent anti-satellite missile, known as Nudol, took place Nov. 18, according to defense officials familiar with reports of the test.

>With the successful anti-satellite missile test, Russia has joined China in arming its forces with strategic space warfare weapons.
Twenty days earlier China conducted a flight test of its anti-satellite missile. The Dong Neng-3 direct ascent missile was tested on Oct. 30 in western China.

>Little information is available on the secretive Russian program. However, as with China, the Russian direct ascent missile appears linked to its missile defense programs.
Russian state-run press reports have identified the mobile transporter-launcher for what is described as “a new Russian long-range missile defense and space defense intercept complex.” The weapon is “being developed within the scope of the Nudol OKR [experimental development project],” Novosti reported in 2014.
>The new weapon is being developed by the Almaz-Antey Air Defense Concern.

Goodie, more nations with little to no regard for Kessler syndrome rattling their sabres.

Guess what.

Shit isn't going to stop them losing a war when they rely on GPS satellites too, not that having no GPS would stop them getting stomped anyway. Anyone launching ASATs is getting hatefucked to death by everyone else on the planet.

You want to stir up feelings of war and hatred within the western world? Blow up a satellite. Guarantee you'll not see a more furious public when you disrupt Facebook.
