Why are people so fucking stupid?
NO ONE here knows shit about this plane. Barely anyone here knows shit about aeronautics. No one here knows shit about how commanding a 21st century air battle would go.

Why do people pretend to know what they are talking about? You have retards talking about a plane that has largely classified equipment and let alone they don't even know tactics or command in the skies. Do you really fucking think the greatest military in existence would spend all that money on something that the Chinks or Vodka could beat? Of course not.

Speaking of them, while they are still drawing their 5th gen fighters, we're already working on our 6th gen. Ayyy lmao.

What is your gun wishlist? If you had an unlimited budget what would buy first?
Other than the obligatory "every gun" what would you get that you think would be really special to you?

I've always thought it would be fun to have a complete collection of the different glocks, they have like 25 distinct models of them.

I'd also like to get one of every gun issued by the US military since the founding of America, or get whatever the closest I can get, like dressing up an old full auto M16 to look like an M4 carbine, since you can't get real M4 carbines as a civilian.

I don't know but to start some sort of SBR in several calibers and maybe some SBS's as well.
>>

i would like to collect sbs's and shotgun pistols, they are interesting to me, also I would like to have the one of the original style models of every new type of assault rifle (i.e. actual or repro stg44, original model ak47, original model m16 etc.)

So I just did a preliminary recruit sign up with the Los Angeles Police Department, and they said because I admitted to trying narcotics at one point, I will be permanently disqualified if I try and continue with the registration process.

Are there any US LEOs on /k/? Did just fuck up my chance to become an employee of US Law Enforcement forever?

What did you use how long ago did you use it.
If you used meth last week, then don't expect a job in LE
If you took some hydrocodone two years ago, then there is still some hope.

If you intercept & shoot an incoming nuclear cruise missile with an air to air missile, will it still cause a nuclear detonation?
57 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
If a nuke goes off in the woods, would anyone hear it?
>>
No, creating a nuclear detonation requires a precisely timed implosion from multiple detonators, you'll probably set the HE and blast plutonium over the area but there won't be a nuclear explosion.
>>
>>28254944
No, at best you crash the thing intact and get a free nuke. At worst you detonate one side of the HE sphere and scatter radioactive material across the landscape for a couple hundred yards.

can we have a thread to discuss /k/ related documentaries? My personal favourites are ones that follow military units either through training or deployment. Big bonus if they can be watched on youtube.

Two very good ones are Royal Marines: Mission Afghanistan and Norway at War. If you want a good one that instead follows troops through training, check out Commandos: On the front line.

>>

The only thing restrepo and korengal did was make me think the army and marines are complete fucking cowards. I spise they're good in that sense about exposing the reality of our troops but Jesus that made me hate my own country more than any intentional criticism ever did.

There was a guy would worked at the top of this 140' tower, he would haul lead ingots and fuel to the top where it would be melted and poured through a strainer that was sized for the size of shot needed. It was a highly toxic and back breaking job.
