What does /k/ think of the VEPR 12? I ordered one on layaway and just paid it off, should be arriving next week. Are they as good as they are hyped to be? I also got an OEM 8 and 10 round mag along with a polychoke.

The point of steampunk isn't functionality, it's to pretend the empire never died and computing never got to the tube, let alone the transistor.
It's a retrofuturistic snob fest taking the world of Victorian era England into the future while maintaining its cultural conventions and social mores. So the US is still a frontier, Germany is actually Pike Helmeted Prussia, India's full of savages to be civilized and you're accomplishing it all with grand airships and trains and 20,000 leagues under the sea submarines and mechanical horse drawn carriages, because technology never got to internal combustion and instead they just continued to iteratively improve steam directly driving whatever you need it to.
The point isn't to be functional, it's to look cool and impress all the other assholes. And have fun building your cool looking, gear encrusted gun or hat or power suit or codpiece or whatever the hell else. Because you're Sir Beef Wellington, inventor-adventurer extraordinaire, and the only laws of physics you answer to are the ones you deign to allow hold sway in your little fantasy land

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place, but I dunno what to do. So in like April, this guy fuckin' revved his shitty rice burner at me. I thought it was just gonna be another dumbass revver, but read on. So he did that shit and then sped off, whatever, but then later it happened.
In May, the same guy started following me home. I could tell by the license plate and it was the same car. I thought it was just a coincidence but then he literally took every exact path that I did. He revved his engine three times, and know the nigga knows where I live pretty much. He lives like three streets away from me on the OTHER side of where I come home. So I have no idea why he went to my street, which is very out of the way from where he goes. Basically, he lives like three blocks away from me. In the starting of June, I found my house vandalized, and then later that evening I saw him driving slowly again. Again, my street is well away from any path he would need to go on. Shit, I shouldn't post too much info, this guy could be on 4Chan for all I know.
Now like two days ago, at like midnight, he passed by my house 4x. What the fuck do I do? Is this guy gonna fuggen' rob me or some chit? Or am I just being paranoid? Already posted this on /o/, but they just told me to come to /k/, Was debating posting this on /x/ because they're also e/x/perts on staying safe in these situations.

I was about to load up some 125 gr cast lead 9mm. I reload for money mostly. I don't save too much with 9mm but I appreciate the savings on .45 and .38 special. It's also nice to know that every cartridge loaded in my gun was inspected several times before it got there and that I witnessed its creation. And I've noticed that I am less affected during panics because I reload.

I was the opposite, I tried getting into reloading during the last panic and couldn't find powder anywhere
It's really cool to know exactly how my ammo is made though. And I can do goofy shit with my ammo.

It's apparently accepted that the IJN Yamato is was the final evolution of the Battleship and if it hadn't have arrived so late (post air carrier revolution) it would have decimated any opponent.
I find the ship itself and its history facinating has anyone any other sources or videos?

Naval history isn't my forte but I wouldn't call it the final evolution. Despite its impressive dimensions it had many shortcomings compared to contemporary classes.
It was a beautiful fucking class though. Would have loved to walk the decks of one of them.

I don't know why some of the guns failed to fire at the declared RPM if elevation was too high or too low but the crowding of the central citadel with AA guns did nothing to prevent its destruction sadly
