Looks like a commercial Finnish M/62 jacket. The buttpack is current Finnish M/05 which is unobtanium at the moment. The patent on it is about to expire, so it is going to flood the market.

Amazing DIY projects are to be seen this fall.
>>
>>30528182
Nah. But we, the swedes and danish are working on a common fighting kit, including uniforms together for 2020. Each country can choose their own camo for that. So most likely we will go with the m05, swedes with m90 and danish with multicam.

Chocolate chip is aesthetic as fuck and very common, just go to your nearest Army/Navy store and you'll find plenty there, especially living in the desert. The British brush stroke (I'm going to get crucified for not knowing what it's called here) is also a good option, and I can personally say that it is the most comfortable uniform I own.

I don't know what they use exactly, but they're tough as hell, fit well, and are super comfy (soft, not stiff or scratchy) Only downside is theyre a little thicker than their US counterpart, but you should be fine in the desert. I feel it with my woodland brush stroke in the SE because of the humidity during the summer, but they can't be beat for winter innawoods gear.

Just my 2 cents.

6b50 goggles are out now, way better than 6b34 as they have rubber outsides rather than the garbage stuff they used to use that always ripped off and collected sweat like bucket. Also look at the 6sh116 or 117, 116 a lot of people prefer because it has much more MOLLEd belt. Whilst 6sh117 has a back area that is MOLLEd so you can attach hydrators.
>>
>>30531735
Partizan M bro, theres a place in UK that sells them but i think they are out atm if you want the link. But honestly partizan M best camo i have, especially the osen side, not only does it look good but you hide in any sort of dead bush/yellow grass you will be unnoticable.
And the Green Side is very similar to SS LETO but youre still pretty much gettimg 2 suits in 1 purchase.

>>
>>30538818
6B50 sounds interesting, but MOLLE belts and backs are fairly useless when the belt area is raised and singled out and rucksacks or other individual carriers exist. I actually like having just the vest area and a separate belt/bag so that one can be ditched without losing everything, and good luck getting into a bag literally attached to your back, unless you only carry things like sleeping bags in it

Here's one. Dude in the middle.

Pictorial evidence of Israeli webbing being worn is quite scarce. I know for a fact that it (and some other gear, including flak jackets and Orlite helmets) was supplied along with the Galils in 1993.
Most sets were probably worn to bits over the years and discarded. Nowadays you might see the occasional Defense League member with an old and tattered set, but that's all.

Here's a great picture for the anon who wanted examples of Swedish kit being used outside Sweden.

Also, link in filename is an absolute goldmine of Defense League images. If you have the patience to browse through all the sub-albums, I guarantee you'll find many images of extremely bizarre uniform/gear combinations.

To clear everything up for you faggots here is what is happening in Finland.

The camo print protection ends in 82 days, Varusteleka will start selling M05 which is not army surplus but freshly made from an Estonian factory, the same exact fucking location the FDF orders their shit from. It has all the same qualities and even some things improved. Technically its not surplus, and not repro.
>>
>>30549284
We've known this for about 3 months.
>>
>>30549171

Sheeeiiit, I didn't even notice it before you pointed it out. No idea what it is (inb4 new holy grail camo - Estonian tigerstripe), probably some Ruskie lizard clone?
>>
>>30549284
>Technically its not surplus, and not repro.

Well technically, it's a repro. Because it's not surplus.

Sorry I meant the pattern, yeah the coloration looks pretty close to the Eesti TTsKO.
Some rare variation? The cover seems to be the same cut as the other TTsKO ones.

It was original surplus material at one point though. And it was beat to shit... And I sold it for $200, when I was really only expecting to get $125.

So yeah, I guess it isn't the worst thing.

I still feel worse about the 3 jungle jackets I sent to another guy. Look up Atelier&Repairs if you want to squirm.

Hey guys, does anyone know what the "expiration" date on kevlar helmets is? I got a good offer for a French milsurp PASGT style bucket made in 98. I don't plan on using it as ballistic protection, but it wouldn't hurt to know if it could actually stop anything.
>>
>>30550478

Looks like the Slovenian pattern almost, pretty cool.

>>30550759

Nice, didn't know it had a Busso. Not too familiar with foreign cars. Sounds like you're pretty damn happy with it though, that's good. And you gotta a little boot loot with it too.

The slovenian pattern is actually directly based on it, pretty sure the only difference is they use 4 colors rather than 5. Wish I had some of that stuff.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that kevlar loses some of its properties as it ages. But can't find shit about any specific time frames.

Just got some Partizen M's in the mail. Really nice, the reversible buttons, draw cords and pockets are interestingly done.
>>
>>30551065

I've never seen them, but then I didn't look very hard. I Imagine they had to "demil" them for export or some nonsense like that.
>>
>>30551046
That is just insane. The only one I found was on French ebay and they asked an arm and a leg for it. You could actually make bank by selling them here in Europe, but with all these regulations that would too risky. That pottery idea sounds crazy enough to work, but I couldn't let you risk it. Who knows what kind of checks those packages go through, though I appreciate the thought.

What I can do for you guys is get you some Yugoslav camo if anyone is looking for something in particular. I just need to get back on my feet financially. Drained my funds with this car adventure.

Serious question, I'm not judging anyone, just looking for inspiration

Do any of you actually wear some of this stuff on a regular basis, ie, out grocery shopping, doing errands, out with friends?

I don't see anything wrong with it, but something in the back of my head keeps telling me I shouldn't. Should I just stop giving a fuck?

Either a Navy or Marine pilot.
Some guys can figure out what squadron or carrier someone was on just by the helmet designs but I'm not one of them.
As for what they flew, you'd have to figure out the squadron first.
