The only reason you ever held Teen Titans in high regard is because you're young and thought that the fact that it resembled anime made it "deeper" and "higher quality" than other action shows based on that superficial quality alone, blinding you to the fact that it was fucking mediocre compared to all previous DC cartoons

The bit with the double date where cyborg is a third wheel or when they go to save the justice league from darkseid are alone funnier than anything in the original.
Hell green lantern cyborg golden girls construct was better than anything in the original tt.
