They work surprisingly well together.
I'm honestly surprised this turned out fine for me.

This has got to be the worst case of stockholm syndrome I've seen yet.
Feel sorry for FOP fans, anybody who's anybody stopped watching when Fairly Oddbaby happened.
>>84540189
You havent watched in 5 seasons yet you're complaining about something you havent seen?
I suppose that's typical /co/ but it's still a bit silly.
>>84540189
Also, Fairly Odd Baby and the subsequent 6th season was good, and far better than the shithole that was season 5. Ironically, it also had much higher ratings than season 5 too.
I'll never understand why people chose the season that was a direct upswing in quality to the previous one as a reason to leave. I get the people who left in S3/S8 much more.

DC tops Marvel in june 2016
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/07/15/dc-comics-beats-marvel-on-marketshare-per-comic-in-june-2016/
So it worked for a month, like the last time they did the same thing worked for a month.
Hurrah?
Long game it has never worked out for them and I am not about to believe this time will be any significant difference or drop off.
>>84558506
Good. Now let's see them keep it up. Save comics DC. Please.
>>84558506
The thing about this, is that DC is only publishing 30 ongoings now, 16 of them twice a month and 14 once a month, or 46 total releases per month. Marvel by comparison is upping their number of releases to about 60 ever since Civil War II. So Marvel will likely just beat DC through sheer glut even if DC sells more per issue.
What do you think about Bryan Lee O'Malley?
Do you like his art style?
Do you like his writing?
Is he a pandering fag or a cool guy?
I like him.
Yes.
Yes.
I like him.
>>84539107
What do you think of Seconds? I was thinking of finally picking it up so I read all of the Scott Pilgrim books in preparation.
>>84539064
His art style is good and bad.
Good as in that pioc that you posted (nothing to write home about )
Bad when he does his comic book pages, he relies too much on ''animu'' gimmicks and the detail in his panels is really bad.
Literally most people with ''alternative'' styles, they mostly look good in illustrations but the attention to detail takes a nose dive in the interior art.
His writting? He kind of sucks, like he knows how to tell a story...

Frank Cho was drawing Hulk, the only sexy comic Marvel comics is still putting out, until recently, when he switched to DC.
Greg Rucka wrote many amazing comics, including Gotham Central, but he may be sipping on the SJW kool aid. Still, it's his book, and his thoughts on the matter should carry some weight.
>Artist Frank Cho Leaves DC Comics, Attacks Censorship Of Wonder Woman Covers
http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2016/07/15/artist-frank-cho-leaves-dc-comics-censorship-wonder-woman-covers/
https://archive.is/ondZH
>After facing criticism and alleged censorship for revealing “too much skin” on his drawing of superhero Wonder Woman, artist Frank Cho has left DC Comics.
>DC Comics commissioned Frank Cho, along with other notable comic book artists, to design variant covers for their comic series.
>Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka allegedly took issue with Cho’s rendition of the original cover.
>“All the problem lies with Greg Rucka,” Cho told Bleeding Cool. “EVERYONE loves my Wonder Woman covers and wants me to stay. Greg Rucka is the ONLY one who has any problem with covers. Greg Rucka has been trying to alter and censor my artwork since day one.”
>“Greg Rucka thought my Wonder Woman #3 cover was vulgar and showed too much skin, and has been spearheading censorship, which is baffling since my Wonder Woman image is on model and shows the same amount of skin as the interior art, and it’s a VARIANT COVER and he should have no editorial control over it. (But he does. WTF?!!!)”
>“I tried to play nice, not rock the boat and do my best on the covers, but Greg’s weird political agenda against me and my art has made that job impossible,” said Cho. “Wonder Woman was the ONLY reason I came over to DC Comics.”
>Cho had some kind words to say about the rest of his team.
>“To DC’s credit, especially [Art Director] Mark Chiarello, they have been very accommodating. But they are caught between a rock and a hard place.”
>“I...

Also Cho didn't leave DC. He's working on Trinity covers instead now. Shit article.

Is the immature and socially deficient man child stereotype a product of the comic books industry or does the industry just cater to these people? Is it a problem with comics or escapism as a whole?
this is a surprisingly loaded question
yeah
Whether indirectly or otherwise the industry caters to them. There's no problem with escapism itself (everything in moderation) - a combination of problems related to upbringing, undiagnosed mental health issues and too much free time/money to burn lead to your standard barely functioning obsessive, regardless of fandom.
Would you read an American ecchi comic by Frank Cho?
I wouldn't read any comic by Frank Cho.
the fuck is ecchi?
I don't really like Cho, OP.
I respect the want for cheesecake and sexy lady art. But Cho's not my cup o'tea.
The Joker is perfect.

Is that an autobiography?
>Martin Goodman tried his hand one more time at comics publishing at the 70's with Atlas/Seaboard (one of the earliest efforts at creator-owned comic publishing but short-lived)
>>84534169
Speaking of old school creator owned stuff, Marvel had a whole line of creator owned comics in the 80s and early 90s called Epic Comics. It was basically a predecessor to Vertigo except with less of a superhero bent (though there were a few cape books). Almost all the titles were creator owned self-contained works (usually minis with the occasional one-shot and a few ongoings) generally ranging from PG-13 up to soft-R content wise. Literally dozens of comics were published that are still worth reading to this day....

Why are they letting kid Hitler onto the team?
because that's just a joke and he literally did nothing wrong

>watch trailers and get hype as shit
>watch first volume as it comes out
>really boring but the few fight scenes were really good
>next two volume come out
>hear they're actually good
Should I bother?
It's still shit and the fight scenes are still their only saving grace. RIP Monty
Volume 1 was like 20 minutes long so you didn't have to deal with the hours of awful dialog the newer volumes had.
It gets good for about a quarter of season 2.
Then it nosedives right the fuck into hell.
RWBY Chibi is fun, though.
So was this any good? It seems ridiculous.
Though not as ridiculous as this
It was pretty fun
the ending surprised me
