I liked this show untill I read the credits and saw that it was written by will ferrel. fuck that unfunny hack.
Just read the latest Civil War II: Choosing Sides, and the story about the heroes reacting to Rhodey's death unexpectedly made me tear up. The writing is very good, and I think it partly made me emotional because of all the tension in the US right now.

Death of Captain Marvel got me a bit teary, although not outright crying. Same with Death of Spider-Man (the last bit of quality that Bendis has ever produced).

This is a hypercrisis thread, but a kind of different one. Instead of making presumptions about fictional characters in a fictional world we are going to make presumptions about fictional characters in the real world.
A little backstory, there was a thread a couple of days ago made by a pschotic girl that claimed she had 30 years worth of Harley Quinn's memories from the post-crisis/pre-flashpoint dc universe. In the beggining she said she was an unimportant character, then that she helped bring down a shitload of criminals in the DCU, then she said it was a psychotic...

The stories that come from the DCU affect our world as we read them. How many people have been inspired by Superman or Batman or other superheroes in our world to do better?
Just because we don't have alien invasions every other week and don't have people running around in leotard costumes with capes doesn't mean that we don't have heroes,...

I was just watching the old "fry versus the brains" episode from 15 years ago and zoidberg walked in and as an example of stupidity said "let's join the tea party". The tea party wasn't around in 2000, why the fuck do they edit episodes like this? To be "relevant"?

Millar has just confirmed that he is working on Superior 2 which should be on shelves next year.
It was a very good comic. Not sure if a sequel is the right move, though.
