Where should I start with reading Deadpool comics /co/?
I don't usually read comics, but after watching the movie, I finally found a character that I like.
I don't feel comfortable just picking up any comic and reading it, I want to read from the beginning.

While Joe Kelly's run is a must read I should recommend you the Marvel NOW run. It has the perfect blend of comedy and tragedy and unlike Way's run is not too random

I think Negan is going to try to take out the whisperers himself, or at least learn about them to make fighting them easier, so he can be accepted into the community.
I don't think he'd take them over just to destroy everything Rick has built up for petty revenge, and I doubt he'd be interested in leading a bunch of nomads who dress up like corpses.

My take on the next big bad who will be Radio Survivor's group is that they are pirates, my reasons being:
>Fear the Walking Dead is currently set at sea, exploring how the coastlines have changed due to the apocalypse
>Pete from issue 139 mentioned about how the fish have flourished in great numbers because there's not that many humans left to exhaust them, maybe Radio Survivor's leader is a pirate of sorts who saw the opportunity of what would happen to the seas and took his or her chance

>Oceanside is a village which thrives on FISHING and we haven't been introduced to them, if Radio Survivor's people are indeed out in the waters then going through them to meet with them would be a good way for the two groups to arrange a meeting

My take on Negan's plan is that he's trying to turn his image around in Alexandria, if he somehow manages to do something remotely good for the community they'll probably forgive him for trying to take it over. I doubt Rick will let him off for good behaviour but he'll still end up being the unexpected hero in all this. I can just imagine the last page of The Whispers arc with Negan being thrown back in prison screaming about how he's the hero and they should all be thanking him, either that or a victory parade thrown for him with residents from the Hilltop like Maggie and Jesus looking on with disgust, hinting at a civil war brewing. The whole forgiving Negan factor would also fit in with what Rick was getting through to the community back in #150

I used to be a big Warren Ellis fan, back when Planetary was still in its stride and he'd come out with series after series of interesting sci-fi concepts, which, admittedly, underwhelmed in their closing chapters (well, those he actually did finish). And then something happened. His comics work has suffered since he began writing novels. Moon Knight was good fun, but that's about it in recent years. Trees was another cool concept bogged down by its mediocre art and obnoxious decompression.
I recently read Ellis's first foray into James Bond fiction. VARGR was a bit of a letdown. It read like a generic Bond movie and only on one or two occasions throughout the 6 issues, did Ellis seemingly remember the format he was telling the story (those bullet frags were pretty cool). The story could have been told in 4-issues. I also found the art less than stellar. The artist did great work with static depictions of architecture, automobiles, and the battleship, but his faces were rather lackluster.
So, does anyone enjoy Ellis's recent work more than his older stuff or am i hitting the nail on the head here?

Well, I liked Moon Knight and Injection (the last issue was pretty funny) but that's about it.
The problem with a Bond story is it always follows the same beats and so it all has to come through in the execution. This is why it works so well as a film franchise because every director can put their own cinematic stamps on the character while following the steps you need to keep it in the formula.
This is why a lot of the Bond books/comics/whatever are mediocre because there's kind of only so many ways you can write that kind of pulp unless you want to go full James Ellroy experimental. I wouldn't blame this on Ellis.

Why is Peter Parker specifically a spider-themed superhero? Aside from getting his powers from a spider, nothing about the abilities he got from the bite are particularly spider-like, assuming you are referring to the original comics and not the Raimi films.

The idea is that stuff that it comes into contact with loses no (or at least very little) energy in its collision. If it's being held still by a super-soldier, the stuff hitting it will fly off with the same force as it hit it with. If it's being thrown, it's not going to lose the momentum it had when it hit something
