Try something other than shitty macro lagers (i.e. bud, coors...), find something you like, drink more of it, and acquire a taste. Most kids don't enjoy the taste of beer the first few times they try it.

I had only had coq au vin once so last night when I saw it on the menu I gave it a shot. I liked it so much that I've decided to make it for my weekly meal prep as the main protein. I'll be doing a cookalong for it, please discuss coq au vin and suggest ways to make it either better or easier

cooking the sauce on low for an extended period? What Spices? You're favorite spices to add to canned sauce?

Uhm....the PASTA needs to be right before you start worrying about the sauce. If it's extruded pasta then it needs to be through a bronze die so it gets the proper texture on the outside to hold the sauce. And of course it needs to be cooked right. If it's undercooked or overcooked the dish is going to suck regardless of how the sauce is.
As for the sauce, the cooking time depends on what type you mean.
Tomato-based sauces do need to be cooked low and slow. On the other hand, a cream type sauce...

I'm in the south and i usually load my grits up with some combo of eggs, gravy, bacon, sausage, green onions, mushrooms, and/or cheese.
Don't buy powdered gravy that shit is a fucking scam. When you're done frying your meat, add some flour and milk to the grease and fucking bam.
