I'm looking for the cheapest blender that can blend greens like kale, what do you guys recommend?

Blendtec.

But seriously, a Nutribullet or Nutri Ninja will probably suit your particular requirement adequately.

But super seriously, consider a refurbished Blendtec if you like to cook other things. A good blender and a good mixer are the two countertop appliances most likely to improve your overall cooking experience.

I don't recommend buying cheap blenders. Good way to have to buy a new one every couple of years. I have the Rx model in that picture. It works great.

My mother has one of those things. It doesn't even use blades, just flat pieces of metal. Pain in the ass to clean that actual section.

When it doesn't leak, it's pretty cool for making one portion of whatever.

Consider the quantity of food you'll want to blend before buying something like this.

I like Marco's Knorr videos on youtube.

People call him a 'sellout' for doing them, but the fact is, 90% of the time the knorr-based seasonings beat salt and pepper, or are at least a nice alternative for a change.

you guys are always memeing about how dark meat chicken is so much better than breasts and I agree, when I order fried chicken or get a rotisserie chicken plate I prefer dark meat, it has a deeper flavor and is juicy. Anyway I went off on a tangent with my mom about how shitty breast meat is (it really isn't shitty because it's all I know how to cook) and she decided to buy me a bag of frozen bone in chicken thighs since I like them so much. Problem is I don't have a fucking clue what to do with them. It was sort of an eye opener since I was talking shit on how tasteless boneless chicken breasts are, yet thats all I know how to cook.

So, what can I do with these bone in thighs? I've bought fresh boneless thighs before and used them in soups, gumbo, stir frys, etc. I'm thinking maybe I can find a good bourbon chicken recipe for them. Any other ideas?

Just did a couple whole chickens on the smoker. Tasted fucking awesome. Also have done rotisserie chicken and whole roasted. Always come out nice and flavorful. Breast though? Meh. Depends on the seasoning and cooking method I suppose.

Now I do not drink very much. My brother tried to turn me onto light beers but the strong taste of alcoholic presence turned me off to the point where I cannot even become acquired to it. However, he gave me one of these Apple Ales and ever since then I've actually fucking love these beverages.

I don't give a rat's ass if this officially makes me a faggot.

I like Redd's Apple Ale. I tried Strongbow too, but I just do not like it as much as Redd's.

Fuck you.

Brrr, it's gonna get cold again this week, -27C here in Toronto forecast.

What better way to endure that with a warm, hearty lentil soup.

Share your recipes.

Just made pic related. One large smoked ham hock into 12 cups of water with two bay leaves, 2 tsps of sea salt simmered for an hour.

Then I added 2 carrots, 2 sticks of celery, 1 large onion, 1 clove of garlic sliced and two cups of green lentils.

Let cook for another 1 hour or just under.

Then I extract the ham hock and separate the fat from the meat and bone and return small clumps of shredded muscle meat into the soup.

Finally 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar and 1 tsp of dijon mustard before serving.

That sounds pretty damn good. I'd probably use peas instead of green lentils.
