Just drink water, really, most of a hangover is dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
Drink a glass of water between each alcoholic drink
Drink a sport beverage before going to sleep
Skip the meal before you start drinking, this ensures that you get drunk faster, you get more bang for your buck and your body has to deal with less alcohol.
Then eat a big greasy meal with lots of carbs and protein before you go to sleep after your done with your drinking.

The point of an expiration date on milk is that stores need to be able to know when to throw it out after it's been removed from the cow, put in bottles, shipped to the store, and put on shelves.

Generally speaking, anything melt-y that's not stringy, so cheddar, Gouda, Gruviera and other, similar cheeses.
As for pasta, hörnli or whatever you call them in your country. The little striped, tube-y ones that are shaped like the letter C. Helixes are also nice.
Shell-shaped pastas tend to nestle in one another so I don't like those.

I've had Popeye's once, they were pretty good. much better than KFC or other fast food chicken. Grocery store deli chicken strips meal plate can be okay and is super cheap.
Personally my favorite is a colorful local place. They'll give you a big plate of hot crispy chicken and fries made fresh in front of you with a cup of coleslaw and tasty as fuck dipping sauce they make in house. It's like $9 but so fucken good.

What sort of pans do you have? Nonstick? Cast iron? Aluminum?
I'm trying to figure out what I should get when I move into an apartment from the dorms I'm leaning towards a cheap nonstick but I get the feeling this is a peasant move.
I use stainless steel. Use appropriate temperatures and oil, and your food won't stick. When you want it to stick so you can deglaze to make a sauce, you can adjust accordingly.

just about everything will bond to stainless steel immediately. however when it browns and all the water cooks out of the food, the pan releases the food from the bottom by itself. all you have to do it resist turning it for a couple minutes. and some oil, obviously.
