On this day 500 years ago the Reinheitsgebot (beer purity law) was passed in Bavaria.
Ever since that day true german beer is only brewed with 4 ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops and Yeast.

I see a lot of threads where people appear to genuinely enjoy and look forward to eating fast food meals (Jimmy Johns, McDonalds, Chick-A-Filla, and so on).
What I would like to know is: how do people end up like this? Do you grow up eating fast food? Was it an everyday thing or just once in a while? Did your parents force you to eat it? Did you eat it at home, or at the fast food restaurant?
I apologize for making yet another fast food thread, but it's been bothering me lately.

I've dined at some of the finest 3 Michelin star restaurants across the fucking world and you're just a fucking prick.
It's fucking tasty for fuck's sake! Is it elegant? No. Is it refined? No! But it's salty, greasy and savory -- it hits all the notes that something has to be good. It's a bombardment of fat and salt; it's incredibly satisfying.
I didn't grow up on it -- my family maybe at fast food twice a month at most.

Fast food was a treat for us, we didn't have it very often as a kid. My parents really tried hard to have homecooked meals together as a family whenever we could.
Get your Ingredients:
1Lb of Raw Beef Fat
1Lb of Sirloin Steak
Leaf Lettuce
Vine Tomato
Horse Radish
King Hawaiian buns
Spice Mix for Burgers (I used salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, onion, garlic, MSG)
Cube and then freeze steak/fat for 1 hour (makes it easy to grind with your grinder)
Grind meat
Collect into reservoir

Generic 5/5 strength ground roast coffee from Lidl
First time using a French press and it's a lot nicer than Nescafe instant which is way too bitter and acidic.
I can drink this black coffee for days.
Folgers Black Silk, French Press. Not that good, but cheap, and I drink too much coffee to justify good stuff every day.

Why do people drink beer? It taste like piss, and in terms of getting drunk it's about ten times worse than just shooting down hard liquor.
I can get shitfaced on cheap vodka in about 5 minutes at a fraction of the price, while beer seems to take about 2 hours if not more of constant drinking to achieve the same effect.

I got a DUI (2 gross mist. because I was over twice the limit too) and was incarcerated for about 4 days before I was able to get out on conditions until my court date.
