I've got half a white cabbage leftover from another recipe. How to use it, besides raw or briefly pan-fried?

Spicy food is how I add flavour to my food without adding calories which helps me control my weight. I use to have no problem with spicy foods but all that changed ever since I hit 30.

The body doesn't process and break down many of the chemicals in peppers and spicy food, so it's going to go straight through you and cause that burning sensation. Some people are affected by this more than others and you sound especially sensitive. Probably best to stay away from spicy food and focus on other herbs and seasonings to add flavor to your meals. As for methodology, roasting generally adds an extra layer of flavor depth to your food as does searing. So last Sunday, my church was having communion, when I noticed that they changed the wafers from the typical hard crackers to a softer and sweeter bread. It tasted like it had honey in it, and got me craving some type of sweet bread made with honey. You guys got any ideas? Should I make it unleavened, or make it like a traditional bread?

I've been sick with an infection for the past month and have consumed little food, and what food I have was very bland and healthy hospital food. I have not eaten anything more sugary than apple sauce in that time and although I feel my tastes have not changed, I tried drinking soda tonight and it was absolutely foul. Don't ask why but I can't get to most of my food, all I have is a faucet, a bowl, a plastic spoon and lots of bagged noodles. It's 1 AM and I just woke up and won't be able to get to my real food until like 8.
