Im really stuck, and deadline is in 3 hours.
I need to write a method that returns an int which is the number of runs in this sequence of coins
(a run is a block of coins all showing the same face, so for example in HHTHHHTTT
there are four runs namely HH, T, HHH, and TTT. Pic is my current method.
Any help is appreciated
It looks like you're trying to compare the current letter of the string to the next one to see if it's a run, but what's happening in your if statement is that you're adding to count for every consecutive item in each run instead.
Change it to !=, and you should have your counter.

I've got an old dell optiplex 320. I know it's ancient but it serves it's purpose.
My question is, it only seems to work with 1 kind of ram. (Pic related)
Other ram with the exact same specs don't work. Any ideas?
For example, this ram is the exact same as far as I can tell, but it does't work? Computer won't post and just does the 1-3-2 beep code. Along with several other modules I've tried. Is there something proprietary about 320's?

Best I could find was the ASUS GL551 from 2014, about $850 on amazon. Has a GTX 960M GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 vRAM which should be enough to play even new games on medium-high 1080p settings.
Are you sure you want to waste all this money on a gaming laptop that costs twice as much as a desktop and some parts can't be upgraded?
You can do what the gaming laptop does with a custom desktop build for around $400.

Use order of operations
