So I'm re-playing Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, and something just occured to me: Why do the Innsmouth folk NOT enter the Church of Jesus Christ?
For those that haven't played the game, but are familiar with Lovecraft Lore, basically:
>Getting chased by fishmen
>Gilled, heavily evidence pointing toward the existence of their God fishmen
>At the climax, you enter a Catholic church
>They stop chasing you, or at least bang on the door, but are clearly not wanting to go inside.
Is there a Lovecraftian reason for why this is? I mean the Innsmouth folk had evidence of their own God's existence, when there was none of the Christian God, so why did did they fear the church?
I tried twice to play this game but damn it's boring.
If I knew some magical being actually existed, I'd be more likely to believe in other magical beings.
So if I actually saw some asshole make infinite bread in front of me, I'd believe in the existence of Santa Claus more.

I hear this a lot, but I loved every second of the game. Fuck, most people think the game goes downhill after you get weapons, but I disagree. Despite the fact, you can't pick up weapons/ammo from enemies, I loved the shooting mechanics and story going forward..Dat Shaggoth chase

An alright guy. Plays video games and instead of being some serious fucking prick (AKA, Vaatividya), when he talks about lore in his playthroughs he simply says "I dunno, what do you guys think?" He doesn't know all the answers. He wrote the fucking GUIDE and he doesn't claim to know all the lore behind the games.
Also his baby's pretty cute. He's kind of ugly though, wondering what his wife looks like.

Every Dragon Ball Z game with voice acting and no dual audio was unplayable. Thankfully in recent years they've been adding Jap audio so suffering through that shitfest of a dub isn't mandatory anymore and it's possible to listen to it the way it was meant to be heard.

Guys I'm up to day 25 with only 18 ship parts in Pikmin 1
am I just casual or is Pikmin really fuckin difficult later on in the game? Seems like when you make it to the Forest Navel it gets knocked up a couple hundred notches
It does, if this is your first time playing it, don't expect to get every single part. You'll likely end up with anywhere from 20-25 your first playthrough. It's really all about Pikmin and time management.
