Why are there no indie 2.5D shooters? Look how awesome and fun to play Doom mods like Brutal Doom are.

Even Wolfenstein 3D is still fun to me with updated controls and resolution. Something about it is so aesthetically pleasing.

Had to redirect cashflow towards a new guitar amp so I'm still sitting on a 9700GT and a 1280:1200 (5:4 lol) monitor.
Honestly, it's sorta cool using an old monitor like that. But it sucks too since I'll have to upgrade the gfx card (prolly GTX750) for shit to look decent on a 1080p monitor.
Spent 400€ on the build so far, gonna be another 300€ until I'm happy with it.
