tl;dr: XSEED announces Trails in the Sky for PC for Winter 2013, then they put the English text and the game literally explodes with millions of bugs. Game was made in a 10 year old obscure japanese code (there was fans attempts to translate the PC version to gather interest for the franchise but no one was able to success).

Seriously, the pacing is awful and summoning personas is a fucking chore, which is a shame because I really liked the characters and the music in this game.

Goddamn, I dropped at Caracol boss fight, those Nazi flying tanks, I only bothered to summon 2 personas up to that point (the ones I wanted needed humongous amounts of cards that I totally wouldn't grind for), so I couldn't defeat them.

I usually prefer to play as a mercenary captain with 20-50 cavalrymen. I'd simply follow certain campaigns and join in ongoing battles to minimize troop losses for allied lords.
As a result, my men didn't die often. When a few of them did, it made me rethink my tactics a bit. When they all got completely massacred, I'd stop playing for at least a day to think about what I did wrong.
