Am I missing something here?
I've tried to get into it twice now, and I always end up stopping at Chapter 3. I tried initially on Normal, then dropped it to Casual but I would hardly call this casual.
I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm sneaking around, getting stealth kills, got the agony crossbow and shotgun, then I need a "chainsaw" to break open the door, so obviously I need to kill the guy moaning with a chainsaw in the barn.
So I figure I'll just unload on him, since I've cleared the area of enemies. I throw a grenade, blast him with the shotgun while he's climbing up the ladder, shoot him with literally everything I have, 4 dudes bust in out of no where and then I get chainsaw'd to death.
I mean... I want to like it. But I literally cannot get past this part. This is the second time I'm going to drop it. I mean I'm not bad at games. I've done Resident Evil 4 Pro with handgun only, I've done DMC3 DMD with no items and a bunch of other stuff but this is seriously making me feel like the biggest retard.
Does it get better?
The game's just poorly designed anon. It's not on you. I got caught by that Chainsaw guy while hiding under a bed in Chapter 1 when he would have no way of seeing me.

I have nothing against healers but as much as I tried, I never understood the appeal of healing
Why do people like it? It felt like I wasn't actually fighting the enemies, didn't even feel like I was playing the game. Instead it felt like I was running around helping people play the game

As a support in league it feels like I'm babysitting a fucking retard at first, and giving him kills, the opportunity to farm etc.
It literally feels like you're making a man out of a big pussy.
Then, magically you become the heart of the team. You secure kills, initiate, throw CC like a motherfucker.
In Dota it's even better because you don't babysit retards as much.
Support is literally the best and most interesting role, where you fight enemies using your CC and just literally fuck shit up.
Take Leona for example, you literally combo people, annoy them like fuck, etc. Where in an MMO you literally sit back and don't fight, just spam some heals

Anyway, just started Tools of Destruction for the first time in like, eight years? It's weird how old this looks now when it used to be crazy beautiful (back of the box even says "the first game to truly deliver the long-sought 'You are playing a Pixar movie' experience.")
What was weirder was that I loaded up my old save thinking I'd just start on challenge mode, but turns out I was already in challenge mode ready to hit Ardolis. I don't remember anything about this game.
