If Monster Hunter has the best and most interesting PvE combat, how come there still is no big action adventure or RPG with overworlds and a story that has it? Instead we get a Monster Hunter story RPG that has fucking turn-based combat.

I played that and while it is inspired by Monster Hunter, has the Monster Hunter Great Sword charge attack or Bow Arc Shots, it still plays like casual shit. Hitboxes/collision detection are a joke.

In real life bows take 100-200lbs of force to fire and require a lot of strength while swords need agility and speed to be effective. Why do videogames have it backwards?

Because you're wrong and both weapons require both strength and dexterity IRL as well as endurance and intelligence. Try harder.
Only the most exceptionally strong longbows have that kind of draw weight. Reurve bows are much lighter, around 50 pounds.
It's also not just a matter of being able to pull the weight, but do it in such a manner that you remain steady and can hold it on target.
