Why do people claim that there isn't a bias against Japanese games in "professional" games journalism?
There's a clear resentment of Japanese games and desire to rid them from this industry.

Bloodborne honestly feels like the game Miyazaki wanted to make all along, using Souls simply as a springboard. The setting, the combat, everything just clicks. It feels like the pure essence of a souls game.
Other games this year have had great parts, but Bloodborne was just boom, the complete fucking package. It felt like a game that knew exactly what it wanted to be, and then it delivered on all fronts.
Its probably the most complete package.
I only wish they added a way to reset your stats that's probably my only valid complaint about it.
Who knows maybe they'll patch one at some point.

Nobody will agree because /v/ is full of PKeks and Nintenyearolds, but BB + TOH is the most complete package of the year and delivered on the most of its promises. It's also the best "Souls" game to date.
