It has as much role playing as Borderlands and that's not an exaggeration. You'rerailroadedinto the same end result with virtually every quest. You can't play a role at all and it''s very strict about that. Worse than 3 in that regard.
Mechanically it ranges from okay to amazing. I think mods are really going to take this game places as long as we get the same love and attention as Skyrim did.

Undertale, splatoon and bloodborne. I didn't play as many new games this year so I really lost track of what came out. Plus the first half of the year I kept busy with manga. Bride of the ancient magus has been pretty neat.
also OP since you played it, is it recommended you play hotline miami 1 before you play 2? I never really bothered and the games look fun.
