Because Schaeffer has just abandoned games, even after people payed money for them (i.e. Spacebase DF-9). Accepting money in advance gives you the opportunity to just ditch something it it's too much work

Schaeffer just outright abandoned some of his projects because he got bored with them, and he already collected the sheckels

Obsidian is the ultimate "ideas guy". Tonnes of notes stashed away in his hard drive for a great game, but never bothered to learn the skills to actually make one.
KOTOR and South Park are the only two good Obsidian games.
Those excuses are true to an extent, Obsidian does get fucked up the ass, but they aren't great game devs in the first place. They only have two or three good games, who cares why their other games aren't that good.

I would say so, even if the combat may suck.
Conan is not always killing all the time, and there is political intrigue, and mysteries. Also some detective stuff.
I have the three collections of all the Conan stories by Howard. I still need to finish the last collection but Conan is GOAT.
In the current political climate OP the only Conan game you'll ever be getting will see Conan transformed into some Tranny, or something. Basically it is not going to happen, and if it does you will wish it hadn't.
I think so. Witcher 3 is the only game since Morrowind to make you feel like you're really traveling in the middle of a fantasy world that could conceivably exist. And really are Conan and Geralt so different?

If you are dead then you pretty much gotta sit there with your thumb up ur ass till the round is over. While yeah I need to get good but that would require that I spend more time not playing than playing the game as I found myself being dead more often.
People are able to do a lot of shit I would not think to do. Which is neat but I don't think the gameplay is that unique to bother with it. Tho would be worth if if you have bros to play with. That's motivation enough.

Isn't this insensitive to people who have been adopted? I'm not adopted, but imagine if someone playing was adopted and is then told that it's terrible. What the fuck? How did they get away with this? I thought Valve was supposed to be full of SJWs. Was there no one on the dev team who was adopted? There are also other jokes earlier in the game based on being adopted, having no parents, your genetic parents not loving you, etc. The above exchange is made worse by the fact that it happens at a point where GlaDoS and Chell are supposed to be on the same side now, and since Chell is a mute first-person protagonist it becomes easy to self-insert in her role.
Antagonists aren't supposed to be sensitive to your feelings, you're intended to dislike them.

Imagine if there was a game where a character tells you that you're a dumb nigger and then shows incontrovertible statistical evidence that blacks are low IQ and responsible for violent crime. Well, it's the only KH game where Tetsuya Nomura actually wrote himself. Usually he comes up with the main plot and the story twists and he hands it off to the writers but Days he wrote himself.
I loved it because it gave the characters depth and they behaved like actual real people. Not mention Roxas, Axel, Xion and Riku to an extent got so much character development.
Sucks Nomura will never write another script himself again because it's too draining but the guy can actually write a good story and characters surprisingly
