Not really, and even if it was did you forget the whole rest of the game? Chapters 1-5 are replaying FC. 6-9 are crap. Also the gameplay is exactly the same as FC, meaning it's still exceedingly average.

So, what ending did you end up taking after all was said and done?
I couldn't do anything but Destroy after everything that I'd been through. Control seemed to be a lie and Synthesis was just too "magic".
And I couldn't bring myself to kill Shepard. I had to keep the hope alive, even the smallest most one-in-a-million hope, that she could eventually escape to a small planet and live a happy life with Liara, away from it all.

Literally 90% of people who shit on it did so because of muh story and were shit at the game. Yes it is a budget tie in but it's honestly a pretty good one, and it's easily the best game the license has had.
